brocedes x midwest emo pt. 1
(-> pt. 2 / pt. 3)
Hey there gang. I made a playlist for Burning Spice and Silent Salt. It's for their dynamic in both a shipping and non shipping context. If you got any song suggestions let me know
I noticed a lack of playlists for our favorite god of autumn gales on Spotify so I decided to fix that.
Fun fact: the VA’s for Kurama and Subaru (J. Michael Tatum and Brandon McInnis) got married recently!
Would you know any songs that give Monty x Y/N vibes?
Thirdstory - Searching For A Feeling (Audio) (youtube.com) - Oh this one especially. 'You shouldn't love me and waste your time, I'm way too fucked up to feel. Go find somebody who's just as kind. I'm mean and shallow, you see. You shouldn't tell me I make you proud; I don't deserve any praise.'
Finding Hope - Crush On You (Official Video) (youtube.com)
Jealous (youtube.com)
And for something with a little more edge, say... Virus!Monty X Y/n? Monster - Willyecho (LYRICS) (youtube.com)
We Could Love One Another: A Papa Nihil x Sister Imperator Mix, the annotated version
Dance Macabre by Ghost: How could it end like this? There's a sting in the way you kiss me. Something within your eyes. Said it could be the last time. 'Fore it's over.
2. Love Me Dead by Ludo: She moves through moonbeams slowly. She knows just how to hold me. And when her edges soften. Her body is my coffin. I know she drains me slowly. She wears me down to bones in bed.
3. Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana: Meat-eating orchids forgive no one just yet. Cut myself on angel hair and baby's breath. Broken hymen of Your Highness, I'm left black. Throw down your umbilical noose so I can climb right back.
4. Lady Grinning Soul by David Bowie: And when the clothes are strewn Don't be afraid of the room. Touch the fullness of her breast. Feel the love of her caress. She will be your living end.
5. Mary on a Cross by Ghost: We were searching for reasons to play by the rules. But we quickly found it was just for fools. Now through all of the sorrow we'll be riding high. And the truth of the matter is I never let you go.
6. Bloody Mary by Lady Gaga: I won't cry for you. I won't crucify the things you do. I won't cry for you. See, when you're gone, I'll still be Bloody Mary.
7. Venus Doom by HIM: She'll be the light to guide you back home. Just give her a kiss worth dying for and open your arms.
8. Silver and Cold by AFI: As a rapturous voice escapes. I will tremble a prayer. And I'll beg for forgiveness. Your sins into me Oh my beautiful one!"
9. Ghost Love Score by Nightwish: My fall will be for you. My love will be in you. If you be the one to cut me. I will bleed forever.
10. The Future is a Foreign Land by Ghost: Oh, if you by then have forgiven me. When push comes to shove. We don't have to be enemies. Won't you hear me out?
(art not mine, sorry)
Miles Edgeworth's Unnecessary Feelings
For all your wistful longing lawyer love! Yes, there can be a lot of joy in Narumitsu/Wrightworth, but this is before they get to be happy. This music, it's all for the unrequited love, you see.
(Oh, and minor sidebar, one of these songs is legitimately my wedding song and what I named my blog after. So that's neat.)

Jason Todd / Red Hood
Penelope Todd (Red Phoenix - Jason's sister)
Haven't You Heard the Word of Your Body? ch. 9/10
As inconvenient as it is for the son of a noble house, some elves have bodies that do the matchmaking for them. That's what's said, anyway. Or: Mithrun goes into heat during the week he and Kabru have to spend stuck in the dungeon, and Kabru's life gets a lot more complicated.
Receiving Mithrun’s ‘letters’ had ceased to be pleasant.
Before the Canaries had left, Kabru had been gifted with a little messenger fairy at rest in its jar. It was pale and prim-looking, with long yellow hair. One of Pattadol’s spares. Kabru had done the courteous thing and not asked whether Mithrun had asked before taking it.
‘I’ve spelled it so that it will write, not speak,’ Mithrun had told him. ‘They can be made to use hand signs as well, but I doubt you know them.’
Kabru did not. So their secretive one-way letter exchange worked thusly: Somewhere across the sea, Mithrun would steal some time and space - no doubt by teleporting - and speak a message to his own fairy. Kabru’s would receive this, go to the corner of Kabru’s desk where he had set out palm-sized sheets of paper and the nub of a pencil for it to use in its efforts, and it would transcribe. Sometimes Kabru would return to his office - which was also Yaad’s - to find it guarding what amounted to a small pamphlet worth of papers.
For the effort the little thing had to expend, it managed neat and dainty handwriting. He’d had to start leaving it a sanding block with which to sharpen its pencil, because Mithrun’s letters ballooned as the weeks dragged on.
They had started out so simple.
