1) How old were you when you first starting writing fanfiction?

31 - though I didn’t actually post any until I was 32.

45) What spurs you on during the writing process?

Fear that if I stop writing I won’t ever write again. Bloodymindedness that I’m going to finish this thing if it kills me. General panic. Looming deadlines (I just wrote almost 5,000 words in 24 hours, so that one is on my mind right now. ;) People egging me on (and yes, if you think I’m talking about you @nire-the-mithridatist @slipsthrufingers @firesign23 - you’re probably right. Particularly Nire and her suggestion about the pole, to give you a recent example.)

Sometimes, a story captures me and makes me write it. That’s how I ended up in this fandom. The final episode of the show aired, and literally the next day I had started writing More Than a Memory. I’d written almost nothing in two years, but within a few weeks I had a 33,000 word story - just because it would not let me go until it was done.

Also, tea is good at just gently spurring me on. I prefer a loose leaf high mountain oolong from Taiwan. Scotch for sex scenes, though.

50) If you could write only angst, fluff or smut for the rest of your writing life, which would it be and why?

Oh, angst without a doubt. There is nothing quite like the exquisite pain of a really good bit of angst. I am an unapologetic Angst Queen and have been for a very long time. So, you know, if you’re reading something by me and you think it’s fluff - you’re probably wrong. All (of my) roads lead to angst at one point or another.

27, ranging from a couple paragraphs up to 13k words written. Plus another 12 ideas. There are maybe 5-6 I’ve worked on in the last month that aren’t yet posted.

I just answered 19, but I’ll add another character headcanon.
