i've been holding off playing Star Wars Outlaws for so long because i heard it was buggy on release and then i kept getting sidetracked by other game releases. i saw it on sale today and was debating whether or not to get the game version that came with the digital art book or not. i was scanning through a copy of the art book that had been uploaded online and recognized something. imagine my surprise when i stumbled across the name "Akiva".
don't feel bad if you have no idea what this is! Akiva is Temmin Wexley from the sequel trilogy's homeworld. Temmin is one of the resistance pilots in that movie trilogy. He is a cool guy, but i'm way more interested in his mom, Norra Wexley. Akiva just so happens to be the planet where Norra meets Rae Sloane, a grand admiral of the imperial remnant, for the first time in the Aftermath book trilogy. and if you know me, you know i'm a huge Rae Sloane fanboy.
i want to go explore this planet for myself now that it's real and characters' backstories like Temmin and Norra are made more real. since Norra was off fighting the imperial remnant all the time, she had left Temmin in the care of her sister and her sister's wife. and guess which characters they put in the game! Temmin, Norra's sister Esmelle, and Esmelle's wife, Shirene are all characters you can meet in Outlaws.

Do you think that Irene pretended to 'die' (Christmas) to keep Sherlock safe? Because she couldn't stand to be the one to cause Sherlock more sorrow, especially now that Moriarty was in the picture?
Yes, I always thought that. She also said it herself in Battersea. She had to fake her death because dangerous people were after her(probably Moriarty's, just a hc). She had to do that to keep him safe. And she also said that if he knew she was alive, he would come after her.
This made me think of her giving her phone as a Christmas gift. Her phone contained a lot of information about powerful, influential people and their businesses which could potentially cause her death if it weren't in her hands. Did she thought that her phone(her life) would be in safer hands if it were with Sherlock? After all, she was basically on the run and in hiding from these 'killers' who wanted to found her or her phone. Maybe by faking hear death and giving her phone to Sherlock no one would think that there's any danger to them and their businesses. Just my thoughts.
