Overworking yourself | Kaya | Chapter 4 | RE: Execution Reaction(?), ATTN: Shiruku

Usually, Kaya would’ve observed the so-called execution, so she could remember their last, possible moments. After all, even though all culprits only landed in prison thus far, which guarantee had they that they’ll be kept alive? Aside from simply hoping for that to be the case, the mascots never explained themselves in that regard. For all they knew, prison here could mean a worser fate than death.

However, none of that mattered, as Kaya had passed out by the time the execution started. She’d been sick since quite a while and now, she’d finally reached her limit. Hell, she hadn’t even realized yet that Mikka had killed for two human-eating bugs that had camouflagued themselves as eccentric ribbons! At this point, the cosplay idol sincerely believed that she had hallucinated them and thus, was truthful to Shiruku when she said that she might feel a lot worse than anticipated.

Either way, the cosplay idol had absolutely no idea how much time passed before slowly, her consciousness returned back to reality. Stirring awake, the pink-haired girl attempted to open her eyes, but when she did, she almost immediately closed them. Not only was the light almost blinding, everything was such a blur that it made her dizzy.

However, if anything, Kaya was a stubborn one. Thus, she attempted to open her eyes again, whilst also realizing that she was lying on something... comfy. A bed? Probably.

Regardless, she blinked for a few times and soon enough, her view got a bit clearer - still not incredibly sharp, but what can you do? If you’re sick, you have to do with what you have at your disposal.

“... Huh...? Where...”

Her voice was hoarse and she felt thirsty. However, she was more occupied with where she was and why. What happened? She remembered going to the trial and... it happened. However...

“Hngh...!”

Ouch, her head hurt.

Shiruku Neko, the “Silk One”, Cat Ninja: 

What she’s from: Pirate101.

Background: 

From the foggy streets of Marleybone to the forbidding skyways of Mooshu, the journey of Shiruku Neko, known in Mooshu legends as “The Silk One”, is steeped in shadow and intrigue. 

Stolen from her family in childhood, Shiruku Neko was raised by the Shadow Clan of Mooshu, a deadly cult of Ninja Pigs dedicated to the worship of chaos and the dark lord Hamakala. 

Her path to becoming the most deadly assassin in the Spiral seemed inescapable… until her last target, the blind goat and last member of the Cowlin monks, Branch, defeated her, and showed her compassion, instead of hate. 

The hardened ninja warrior began to doubt everything she had previously believed in, and with compassion and patience, Branch turned her to the light, and Shiruku Neko grew to care for and even love her new guardian, who taught her the way of Cowlin. 

Thanks to Branch (and the timely assistance of the crew of the Santa Oro), Shiruku Neko was able to destroy the Shadow Clan. 

Since then, she has traveled the Skyways with Captain Evan Ironside (the captain of the Santa Oro) to discover the secret of her origins. 

When the crew of the Skyfarer (formerly the Santa Oro) arrived in the Eagle Colonies/Eagalia, she immediately became drawn to the locals’ fight for independence (Eagalia is based on Revolution-era America)… 

How she is like me: Like me, she can sometimes be a little impatient, and we are both very strong (in her case, on the inside). We also have good hearts. I try to remain patient and practice patience with the aid of various calming strategies. Also, I show my good heart by being nice and helping others. My impatience is mainly shown in my habit of having trouble understanding the concept of time. Also, when I get frustrated and upset, I often turn to anger. She searches for her origins, to find out more about her past. I seek stuff about my parents to help me behave.

I suddenly had the idea of drawing my OC Kaiteki putting his hair up in a ponytail and that idea wouldn’t leave my head, so I drew it, he’s adorable with his hair up as well!

How do I do hands tho...oh well, it’s clear enough what is happening ^^
