Shi-Long Lang:

Lang would be torn between love and duty; he does care deeply about each one of his subordinates and regards them as family, but he had never come into a situation where he had romantic feelings for one of them. You were a special case, and he certainly didn’t know how to handle you.

He wants to stay professional, finding it easy to treat you much like his other subordinates and finding you play along with the situation just fine, but when you happen to find him alone, he can feel the electricity forming in the air between the two of you.

He doesn’t want to date one of his subordinates, but neither does he want you to have to move on from your current job. You were good at what you did and had the type of skills he could rely on, perhaps one day to graduate to his second-in-command.

If he was to give in to his desires, he would request the relationship be a secret. He wouldn’t like that it had to be a secret, but he still had to think of a way to work around the legality of the situation and how it might be deemed as favoritism if others learned of your relationship.

He would eventually tire of the situation and keeping it a secret, though he’s not sure if he can just ignore the consequences of his actions. He knows his other subordinates look up to him, and hopes they don’t seem him as a lesser being just because his love was too strong to contain.
