My mom says I’m okay.

I told her I needed a therapist and she told me to take up knitting. I don’t have the patience to do a project that I can’t finish in a day. So I decided I’m going to have a giant pity party for myself instead of getting a therapist.

My tiff with today is my boyfriends roommates. I cannot stand them. They are so inconsiderate for every aspect of life. The fucking parking to passive aggressive about the cleaning of the house. It is IMPOSSIBLE for them to confront the people they have a problem with, but have absolutely no problem telling everyone else in our friend group about it. GROW UP. I feel like I’m in high school again with all this bullshit drama.

My boyfriend, bless his soul, will not say anything to them about it. It is literally eating my insides, because I am so beyond fed up with them. I love my boyfriend so much, but I wish he would stand up to them. I don’t know what it is about them that he can’t do it. The first thing that irked me was them needing both of the garage door openers. His roommates fucking pickup doesn’t even fit in the god damn garage. So why does he need one??? He doesn’t. But those two can’t coordinate enough to either move their vehicles or talk to us a parking situation. They are too far above that, she’d rather have someone else suffer than not get her way. Which is pretty fucked up.

Second thing that was unnecessary, was them not wanting me to have a key to the place. In case the roommates parents or their friend wanted to stay at their place one time in three months. They’d rather permanently inconvenience everyone else than themselves four times a year. The boyfriend found the key and gave it to me and they didn’t say anything about it. SURPRISE SURPRISE. An issue that they didn’t talk to us about. But the fact that my boyfriend didn’t say anything to them about it, has also been grinding my gears.

I have no idea what to do about it. Friend number one thinks that I should just chill about it, but I’ve been chilling about it for more than 2 weeks and it’s about to boil over. Friend number two thinks that we need to talk to them but that whatever we say to the girlfriend won’t change her mind, so it’s kind of pointless to even have her involved. I told the boyfriend that I’ve been marinating in this for too long and the problem needs to be solved.

Kind of sad that we don’t even know what the problem is, but we’re the root of it? I’m fucking over it.
