THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING (2001)
Tom Hiddleston of course!
send me an actor/actress and i'll tell you
what's the first movie i remember watching: Thor, because of youuuuu~
the last movie i watched: Technically it was an episode of Essex Serpent but as far as movies go, Thor Ragnarok.
how many of their movies have i've seen: 21 films, 5 shows, and 1 Broadway play.
my favorite movie of theirs: Any of the Thor movies, Avengers, Crimson Peak, Only Lovers Left Alive, and Deep Blue Sea. (Also Betrayal)
M*A*S*H for the fandom ask
blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): Fr. Mulcahy
scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): Radar
scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave): Klinger (I know he's not underappreciated but like i cannot think of any side characters)
glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week) PA ANNOUNCER
poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): I'm about to get a lot of hate about this but Frank
horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason) Also Frank
eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell) Also also Frank
Shivering (adj): shaking slightly & uncontrollably as a result of being cold, frightened, or excited.
Soldier (noun): person who serves in an army; (verb) 1: serve as a soldier; 2: carry on doggedly; perserverence.
Three of Swords Upright (heartbreak, emotional pain, sorrow, grief, hurt)
Nine of Swords Upright (fear, anxiety, negativety, breaking point, despair, nightmares, isolation)
This is one (still working on the other two) of my pieces for the art prompt: name meanings. I took a different approach in not only including the meaning of the names for the characters in Nolan’s Dunkirk, but I also chose to combine the meanings with tarot cards. For Shivering Soldier, I chose both the three of swords upright and the nine of swords upright (the nine ‘swords’ are depicted by the nine hands).
** The Nine of Swords can also sometimes be associated with trauma. I chose hands, rather than swords, because I feel as though these represent the men that Shivering Soldier could not save.
***I used biddytarot.com for my referneces/information for the tarot cards and their meanings.
It is very rough, but it is late, I am tired, and I hope to get some rest before (possibly maybe hopefully) finishing the other two pieces. I hope all are well.
“He's not himself. He may never be himself again."
{Dunkirk} This movie really made me depressed, but sadness is good for art. Pray there won't be another world war.
I feel I am getting my life back together. I was so messed up in past few weeks, but It seems the problems of my home, work and health is improving. I guess I will come up with more art soon :)

Exulansis
“I am young, I am twenty years old; yet I know nothing of life but despair, death, fear, and fatuous superficiality cast over an abyss of sorrow. I see how peoples are set against one another, and in silence, unknowingly, foolishly, obediently, innocently slay one another. I see that the keenest brains of the world invent weapons and words to make it yet more refined and enduring. And all men of my age, here and over there, throughout the whole world see these things; all my generation is experiencing these things with me. What would our fathers do if we suddenly stood up and came before them and proffered our account? What do they expect of us if a time ever comes when the war is over? Through the years our business has been killing;—it was our first calling in life. Our knowledge of life is limited to death. What will happen afterwards? And what shall come out of us?”
--All Quiet On the Western Front: Erich Maria Remarque
