My morning was spent mostly finding/realizing all the issues with the spare bedroom that need to be fixed. Like.. tack strips along the wall that poke through the carpet and stab you (need to be hammered down), and the half-hot/switched outlet for that bedroom does absolutely nothing(?) because all the outlets are active regardless of the orientation of the wall switch. Hmm. I mean, technically it doesn't matter because the corner ceiling light I purchased has its own on/off switch, but it would just be nice to have a wall switch that actually functions otherwise why is it even there? Lol. Doesn't really matter though I guess since I can just fix it myself.

Picked up this cute little bobblehead from a neat tourist trap kinda place in Oregon. This was years back and I recently had to pull it off my shelf cause I thought I smelled burning wood.

I don't remember this thing being on the bottom when I bought it but it's been so long that it might've been? Feels a little warm. Maybe the sun just hit it wrong.
