Solve A Case x Finding Truth(?)

I feel like I’m using this tumblr thing in a very wrong way, but for fuck’s sake no one really cares, right?

I’ve been trying to reduce my social media use for 3 months now, and honestly it feels GREAT. It feels like when I stopped eating red meat in the beginning. I feel shaky, there’s craving, and I got very cranky. After awhile, it feels fine then feels liberating.

Then one day there’s a complain from a friend, saying she saw me using my phone a lot but I rarely check her DM on Instagram or Twitter, or even reply her texts. Well, I do use my phone for hours and hours, but I use it to play video games (LMAO), using Tumblr, Reddit, and reading some manga. I’ve been playing Genshin Impact and Ninja Village and there are manga(s) ... let just say some are entertaining and others give me brain-bug every now and then.

1. Alcohol Is For Married Couple

It’s a seinen - slice of life kinda manga, about a woman chief officer named Chisato or Chii-chan and his husband who’s an interior design named Sora. Sora used to be a bartender so he’s good at making drinks, while Chisato shows completely different character whenever she’s drink. It’s cute, hilarious, and it gives us recipes for the drinks. I love it!

2. Ase to Sekken

Yea it’s a bit ecchi, but I have to say since I became an adult I can legally read rated stuff now. HURRAY! It’s about an accountant woman named Yaeshima Asako who sweats a lot, (which I relate in so many ways because I also sweat easily) and a product designers named Natori Kotaro with inhuman sense of smelling. You can figure out the rest of the plot easily.

3. Sachi-Iro no One Room

This manga is the manga that gives me brain bug every now and then. Its a manga about a mid school girl who’s been abused her entire life by her mother who falls in love with with kidnapper. The girl slowly show PTSD behavior, and the guy show his deep dark truth. There’s this scene that got me thinking a lot.

“Don’t deny the fact and don’t read too deeply into them either. Just accept the truth that appears before you. Because they most likely don’t need someone to understand them.”

That sentence struck me in the chest.

A lot of people treat me like a case to solve whenever they know about my condition. Like my MDD or schizophrenia behavior is some kind of puzzle for them to solve. When I only want to hear the truth, my truth, my facts, which by the way they’re the one who asked about it in the first place. Then, they go parade their way trying to solve a mystery like I’m sort of a case for their achievements to be unlock. I know some of the intentions came from good place, but how they treat their intention to help me when most of them just to make themselves feel better, just disgustingly sickening.

And yes, I no longer try to make anyone understand me because no one can fully understand another person. Not even God (in my opinion) can predict the act of free will. So don’t bother. Just accept the truth that appears, the truth or the facts that I said.

4. Downfall

This manga written by Asano Inio, the author of Girl on the Shore and Oyasumi Punpun. Both are masterpiece, anyone should read these AND I NEED MORE PEOPLE TO TALK ABOUT THIS! Downfall is about mangaka who becomes absolutely hate the manga he created and his career, his relationship, everything starts to crumbling down.

“When I’m with you, I can only feel like a loser.“

This sentence also struck me. The reason why there were moments where I pulled myself from everything or even push people away, is because the more I’m involved with some people, the more I feel like a loser. The more I tried to keep that feeling down, the more I hurt people around me, by making them down on my level. I need them to feel like a loser so I won’t, ruining one relationship after another, and this insecurity is toxic. And it’s better to be left alone before I can do any of that, before I feel more like a loser for hurting people who truly cares about me.

All that aside, I can only know the source of my toxic-ness, my anxiety, are from social media. That’s why it feels so much better when I paced myself with the use of social media. Then I realized, wOOOooooOOOw being an introvert is truly amazing.

“Please, stay. This table is technically big enough for both of us.” Derek interrupted, a soft smile on his lips. Those perfect lips! “And Hutchins? What happened to the first name basis?” Teasingly said, as if nothing ever happened between them. Infuriating. 

Avery’s eyes narrowed, jaw clenched. “Things change.” He spoke through it. Avery would not let this guy get the best of him. He is better than this. “And like I said, I will take my leave.” Surely, there are other tables in this stupid cafe.

i just know avery and derek have amino accounts and would talk there constantly after avery found one of derek's intellectual rants on why sans isnt dead and when amino shut down, the connection cut off bc they never bothered to ask any socmed accounts

AND THEN THEY GO TO THE SAME COLLEGE AND the reason why they became friends again was they took the same gen ed course (arts) and they became partners for this one project where they had to draw each other and avery posted a lot of his art in amino back then and now, he still used the same signature AND HE USED THAT SIGNATURE TO SIGN HIS PORTRAIT OF DEREK AND DEREK WAS LIKE "holy shit themostmayo??" and avery was like "D3RLORD3?!?!?!?"

and then they became so close, attached to the mother flipping hip close, which made their friends go "these guys r dating" but THEY WERENT at that time BUT THEN they all (including derek) found out avery was recently cheated on by his ass of a bf (hastur?!?!? idk) SO EVERYONE COMFORTED HIM and were like "dude we're so sorry he didnt deserve ur fine ass istg also we thought u n derek were dating????"

derek n avery (who was still tearing up and snotting) went "what??"

AVERY had to heal first ofc but they welcomed the idea of dating

ok so derek was 100% dead or taken by the dms BUT what if, he was neither?

basically, avery (after piecing things together) got derek's address who knows how and got to him, calling 911 and stuff

derek was sent to the hospital where he was getting the attention he needed but unfortunately, was in a coma because there was something going on with his brain that the doctors could not explain (kiy infiltration)

derek's mother couldnt make it to her son bc plane tickets r expensive af but entrusted avery w derek as she find ways to get to the hospital

avery's basically staying in the hospital room, waiting for derek to wake up

after shifts (yes he still has to work), he'd tell derek about his day and what happened

sometimes he swore he could feel derek's fingers twitching as avery caressed his hand

the day before derek's mother arrived, the doctors said that whatever was messing with derek's brain was killing him fast.

derek's mother wore a black dress that she thrifted an hour before going to the hospital and avery was beside her, wearing a black button-up and pants, as the coffin was lowered
