How can I explain without sounding like a prick that i absolutely in no way want show!Will to look like book!Percy.

The casting for Apollo is perfect. No, he is not book-accurate, but honestly? Put that boy in some eyeliner and let him be a cocky grunge-esque guy. He's especially perfect for Lester if they do toa.

But him being dark haired and eyed does NOT mean Will has to be.

Yes, in the show, (almost) all the demigods have wildly resembled their godly parent (I say almost because I can't see the resemblance between Clarisse and Ares). We've now gotten that! The new girl (Allison?) really freaking resembles our Apollo!

But if we get hoo and the "you're not my type" convo, Will looking how he is described will make it that much funnier. Percy being freaking baffled because "fym not your type? he looks just like me!"

It could explore that looks don't always matter to a person, that sometimes, it's about personality. Because that's important. That looking different from the "skinny, dark haired, dark-eyed" standard that still exists (it still exists. fuck off) doesn't make you undesirable (ignore my earlier posts referencing looking like that please). I'm not saying there's an issue with looking that way.

I don't know. Maybe this is a dick thing for me to think.
