They have to keep buying new games and frankensteining old ones together, because between him and the Hermes kids, you will be missing something. Half the cards are quickly scribbled on scraps of paper. Every board game ends up with random objects as pieces; rocks, sticks, pieces from other board games, more paper, a buckle that fell of someone's armor, a pencil worn down so far it's a stub, a marker cap (no one knows where the marker is), can tabs and bottle caps

Things they've learned cannot be used: leaves and flowers (found a spider), chalk, anything that once was or could become food (gross), Riptide's cap (it despawns when you're not looking), sharp objects, ping pong balls (rolled away), someone's shoelace straight from the shoe. The list is growing every day

I hate when there a book to film adaptation and everyone just focuses on the fact they change a character appearance when there was a even bigger change that happen.

Like you see this alot with the Percy Jackson movie were anytime people talk about the "major" changes and they bring up the fact Annabeth was made into a brunette and not the fact the completely change Grover personality
