So... This is for those people, who keep saying "Ukraine should just give up!" or "Why is Ukraine even fighting?" or "Our Governments need more Money in the Country! Why should we send Ukraine anything?!"

All Countries most definetely need Money, due to the Pandemic that has led to a Recession in almost all Countries. That is true. People could protest and fight against their Government's Funding and Decisions.

BUT, Ukrainians fighting to defend their Country, is their Right!

So, if some Horrible people enter your House, unannounced, then kill your Parents and/or Grandparents, then rape one of your 2 Sisters and then want to continue that with your other Sister and you, then what would you do?

Would you not fight to save your Sister while trying to keep your unharmed Sister safe? Is that not correct?

Or should the Inhabitant(s) of the house be like "Wow! You invaded our House. That is great of you! Here are my Sisters. Please use them in whatever way you want. Then you could use me too. For, I am forever grateful to you, for invading my peaceful House."

A Door Slammed In My Face

A few years ago I was really suffering with anxiety due to having PTSD. The part of my brain that responds to threat was on alert all the time. I couldn't switch it off even if I tried. One of the most frustrating answers I would get from those around me was "You're just not trusting God enough." Back then I didn't know that anxiety and PTSD have real effects on the brain. The scan of a person with PTSD is similar to the scan of someone with a major brain injury. Seek help and eat well. This is not a "demonic" make believe thing.

Has ever a thought hit you out of nowhere and made you cry regardless how hard you try not to? I was playing guitar and all of a sudden I started crying like crazy. I just couldn't stop. For a reason I'm unaware it seems that I've not been able to process something that happened years ago. I have known a guy for a few years when I was in my teens. I even used to hang out at his place almost every day for a whole year at least. We weren't close and I never thought of us as being good friends or anything. I think we were similarly bored of life and the society and we just liked each others company. He was stoned every day and I was drunk most of the days. I moved away and we simply forgot about each other. Years later I met him while visiting my parents. I was straight edge for 3 years back then and felt good about my life. He, on the other hand, told me that he was on other worse drugs and decided to go cold turkey, but then started drinking alcohol instead. He looked just like an alcoholic who gave up upon life. And I in my idiotic egocentric 20s thought things like: "I don't recognize this person he is not the person I used to know, I don't want to hug him and oh good thing I didn't end up like him." We talked for a few minutes and I never saw him again. I rarely thought about him and every time I did, one thought came up: "we weren't even real friends, we weren't even that close" Years later, at the end of my 20s I visited my parents and met an old friend. She mentioned casually that this guy committed suicide. I was shocked, but once again I thought: "we weren't even real friends, we weren't even that close". I cried a little that night and maybe on one or two other occasions later on, but I also pushed it aside fairly quickly. Today I cried. I cried like hell! Yes maybe, we weren't even real friends, but I should have said something else, I should have listened, I should have had other thoughts! And yes maybe, we weren't even that close, but I should have hugged him, I should have shown some empathy, I should have made him feel like a person I have known! Now that I think about it I wish we were real friends, I wish we were that close. I wish I was a good human and I wish he would still be alive. You'll probably say she is just seeking for attention. And you'll think, now that it's too late, she feels guilty and wants someone to make her feel better. Or maybe you'll write things like, why do you post something like this on Tumblr, if you are not seeking attention? Well, I know that even if we would've been friends, he might have killed himself anyways. I know that even if we would've been that close he might not have cared or craved for my empathy. I'm not that important. I might not have helped at all. And sure as hell I don't need anyone to make me feel better now. I just wish that someone out there reads this and sees themselves in it and at least tries the things I didn’t do. Maybe it'll help someone. If you feel that someone needs help, try to help and don't say "we aren't even friends, we aren't even that close". If you feel that you want to end your own life, please don't. After some time (maybe a long time) someone will come who will want to be your friend, who will want to be that close. Please don't do it!

A resident received teeth cleaning from a mobile hygienist that travels to take care of elderly who have limited mobility or limited access to dental care. The hygienist noticed a bump in the entrance to her throat and recommended to get it checked. Resident came back today with a referral form from her primary care to see an ENT. Her doc did not give her a list of names and phone numbers, nor did he even take a look at inside her throat. He was like “just go online and search for ENT specialists and call them.” It makes me so ANGRY. This is a lady in her 70s, who does not speak English, who has limited support from her children, who is taking care of her husband that can barely walk and is awaiting diagnosis for his deteriorating physical ability, who does not have smartphones or tablets or whatsoever. It took me 30 minutes, more than 10 calls, to find a specialist that accepts her insurance, has interpretation service, takes new patients, but at a location that will take her 2 hours. Imagine how long it would take her to find anyone. After 5 phone calls, she said it’s okay, I will wait and see. I said, it’s NOT okay, we need to get you seen soon. Yes, doc, it’s so easy for you to say, but, you have no f-ing idea how hard it’s for her. You have no idea that some of these residents travel 2 hours on public transportation to get seen by you for 15 minutes. You are so focused on getting the job done, that you don’t see anything outside of that. Sure, you are a doctor, but you are not a doctor.
