it's been a while, was last month the last time? (if you get that butchered reference i will give you a cookie and a hug)
yes, yes it was. i just kept on forgetting to talk about my week. not that i blame myself for that, i have been majorly stressed out about it all. college has been ramping up as it comes to a close, not for the final time but it is my end of year show of a chorus line! it will be a singular sensation for sure. i'm worried about forgetting my lines so rehearsals have happened a lot. a lot. almost every night with a friend or another. i've met some new friends because of it which is wonderful.
not being off book is always so frustrating but i have worked my hardest to make sure i will be as off book as i can, especially with the prospect of my brother coming to watch me! i don't know who else is watching, i hope we get a good turn out. i did invite some voice acting friends i have but they were busy, it sucked but obviously i understand!
i found out today i like coffee, oat milk makes it taste nice. i enjoy it. it gives me a lil kick, should i say. i hope to find some of the drizzles and shit you can make starbucks drinks with to make a nice drinks with less of a cost, i'm just trying my best to broaden my drink horizon so i am not just drinking tea all day. if you have any suggestions that'd be awesome! especially ones i can make at home!
today i uploaded a new youtube video of the finale of sitting in a tin can i'd appreciate it so much if you'd watch it.
when it comes to my japanese studies things have been going well. my tutor says i am taking to it well which honestly made me feel so happy! though admittedly i have been having those weird feelings of wanting to study everything at once but i know i can't. so i am trying my best to focus on the things i can study and know that studying will help me and not be too overwhelming and unless something major happens my focus will be on japanese and writing!
i'm trying my best that's all i can say.
let's hope for a great show week!
meet (the young version of) Gertrude Eden Higginbotham!
Types of Kids in Theatre
1. The Perfect Tenor ™
The one person everyone is in love with. He has a perfect voice and is very cute and nice. Always gets lead parts, but really, he deserves them.
2. The Mean Girl
She is so pretty and looks like she would never be into theatre, yet she actually loves it and is really nice. Make up and hair is always on point.
3. The Dancer
My god. Them moves make people question their sexuality. Like how can you do this, like is it even humanly possible?
4. The Walking Meme
Bringing energy and humour to rehearsals, always has unlimited amount of energy. Never can shut the FUCK up.
5. The Organised One
Has twenty different roles in theatre and twenty jobs outside theatre. Is always somehow prepared and organised. How? We’ll never know.
6. The Relaxed One
Always gets the principal part, yet never knows the lines until the opening night. Seems like they don’t care about the production at all, but they actually do. Stresses the fuck out of directors.
7. The Person on the Verge of a Mental Breakdown
That one person, who actually has so much to do/teach and gets very stressed when people aren’t doing what they are suppose to. Can come off as very strict, but they are just stressed that’s all.
8. The Oldie
That one person who has been in the company since 1895 and never left. Actually has a stable job, stable relationship and tons of other stuff to do, yet they keep coming back.
9. The Legend
The person, who everyone knows about yet few actually met them. Mysterious, they appear rarely... what are they even doing here??
