I've been interested in Nothing Painted Blue since hearing "Swivelchair" years ago. Listening to this band always puts me in a good mood - seems like the perfect combination of R.E.M., Big Dipper and maybe The Verlaines (listen to "Swansong").

Franklin Bruno and Kyle Brodie made up this band that has been around since the 1980s. "Taste the Flavor" was released by the revered Shrimper label and is currently distributed by Sump Pump Records. In fact, while Bandcamp states the CD is sold out, you can find it on the Sump Pump site (or Discogs).

I'm guessing Nothing Painted Blue is not active anymore. Let me know if I'm wrong.
