Shy extrovert
Trying to explain that YES I am an extrovert, and no you can’t tell because my anxiety and bad self esteem means I don’t talk as much in random settings as other extroverts you know. I’m a shy extrovert. I like to be around people but unless im comfortable with the group of people im with, I won’t contribute as much to the conversation
I am the most shy outgoing person you'll ever meet.
I'm the shyest extrovert ever and it sucks!!!!! TALK TO ME!!! I know I look sad it's just my face i WILL take off my headphones I WILL talk to you just m a k e t h e f i r s t m o v e
~shy extroverts~
Yall. Being a shy extrovert is a thing. Like, I am such a loud, talkative person but I'm lowkey dying inside. I get so scared when I talk in front of people; yet I always volunteer to. Like what.
Shy Extroverts: What do they think?
How annoying it is to be called introverted.
While the two traits are often used synonymously, shy people aren’t always introverts — and those who don’t fall into both camps understand the frustration that comes with being classified as such. Henderson points out that there are shy extroverts, or those who perform well socially but may experience self-conscious thoughts and feelings internally. As shyness expert Philip Zimbardo points out in a Psychology Today post, many Hollywood icons can be shy extroverts — and their tendency to be self-reflective or self-critical doesn’t always show in a public setting.
