For anyone who has a hard time standing for showers, I highly recommend a shower chair. They’re wonderful. Bulky and space consuming, but it’s better than sitting on the floor of the shower.
Having just gotten over last month’s pneumonia about two weeks ago, I managed to contract Bronchitis with a hint of pneumonia yet the fuck again. in four days. FOUR. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK LUNGS. The doctor I saw about tripped her shit when she realised that. I now have to go see a pulmonologist because of the constant infections and the likelihood I also have some type of airway disorder due to how shitty my peak flow testing was even after a round of albuterol. So here’s to trying to get a little bit better before I gotta go see yet another round of MD’s.

Life with chronic illness is hard...
...but it’s not always our symptoms that make it hard. Not the doctor’s appointments, the hospital stays, the way people look at you, the financial aspect.
Sometimes, it’s the daily struggle to love your body. When you look in the mirror and see your pale face/flushed face, bloody nose, puffy face, tired eyes, thinning hair, the bruises and scars, the weight you lost/gained...that’s a daily reminder that you live with a chronic illness, that something is not “normal”. But hey, you rock and you’re beautiful, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You’re loved and your illness won’t ever change that.
Same time yesterday this chick was limp on its back and almost lifeless. Still not out of the woods yet. Im syringe feeding egg yolk and chick starter about every 2 hours and cuddling and rubbing the chick often. If you just leave them alone between feedings i find it doesnt help motivate the chick to live especially if there is no siblings.
Chicks scratching is always so cute
That pic makes him look like a stress ball 🥺
Hold gently for peeps and chirps
