A Recent Conundrum
I'm looking at a post that has the name "Peter" in the title when I hear my roommate chuckling behind me.
"What?" I ask, genuinely curious.
"Oh, I just looked at your screen and saw 'Peter,' and realized I had no idea who it was talking about."
"Whaddya mean?"
"Well, it could've been Peter Parker, Peter Nureyev, or Peter Burke. So which is it?"
"...Peter Burke."
Up to this point, I had not even realized I had more than one Peter. Which is crazy because these three:
Not the same person AT ALL.
Just silly things you realize. Apparently I interact with a lot more Peter's than even I knew
Speaking of D&D / Ghost crossovers, I've been turning this one over in my brain for a bit now. Probably inspired by the cast's Halloween costume shenanigans, though obviously there would be no real reason for them all to dress identically a la stage costumes. But I thought it would be fun to try to line up their personalities with band members and elements...
Critical Role x Ghost!
Matt Mercer - Papa
Taliesin Jaffe - Aether (this is the one I will not budge on because it feels absolutely self evident)
Marisha Ray - Dewdrop (small but mighty, fierce)
Liam O'Brian - Rain
Sam Riegel - Swiss
Ashley Johnson - Cumulus (she's a fantastic singer!)
Laura Bailey - Cirrus or Aurora (ditto, and also gives 'I'll cut you if I have to' vibes)
Travis Willingham - Mountain (quietly leading even though he's rarely out front)
Robbie Daymond - Phantom/Aeon (new guy who brings energy that feels like he should have been there all along)

Do I have an opinion of Powerglide/Astoria vs Powerglide/Moonracer?
If I have to pick which I prefer, it would be Astoria. She had a full episode with Powerglide in which we could see the two of them really interact. (Powerglide opening his chest to show the audience a heart got me in the doki doki.) At the point of G1 I'm in, there's only been ONE episode of all the female Autobots and the introduction of these characters felt incredibly shoehorned, either trying to fill the Token Girl slot or saying "hey, these aren't gay robots!". The interaction between each of the male and female Autobots (minus OP and Elita) pretty much boils down to "hey! It's good to see you again! Later!" To say these felt like the characters were actually romantic with each other is... A stretch. Ironhide and Chromia were the closest to feeling like there was some actual chemistry. (I'm more inclined to say Chromia had more chemistry with Moonracer and/or Firestar.)
Also... To be completely honest, I really do enjoy G1 human women knowing what they want and what they want being giant alien robot bfs because same.
However, I don't believe in absolutes when it comes to fandom shipping. You can like both or, the revolutionary knowledge of each of these characters having two hands!
I had some extra time at work and decided to make superhero versions of some of the birdie badges we were making for the kids. :)
I made a Star Lord birdie too, but I forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it to my friend. I’ll see if I can get them to send me a pic. :)

Why claiming "Fanservice" is not a valid argument
Just an evaluation, but…
“Fanservice” is hardly a negative thing as many people are trying to make it out to be. If the fans get what they want, they are happy, when they are happy, they make positive noise and everyone involved makes money and show stays on for a long time. I’m sorry that the fans that make the most noise (mostly because there are so many) are the Oliciters, and because of that we get what we want. You can call it “fanservice” all you want if it makes you happy, but if you mean it negatively it’s out of spite more than anything because you yourself are not getting “fanserviced”. Stop throwing out that term willy-nilly because you aren’t getting what you want. It’s silly.
I remember kids throwing out that fandom term when I was on my NightStar kick. Seemed silly then too…
