I’ve been thinking about Eddie looking for a job in El Paso. They could give him the quintessential fast food job in Texas if they really wanted to stress the whole being aimless inTexas thing. We all know that Ryan would somehow make the uniform look good! And it’s easy to imagine Chris going to Whataburger after school and being shocked to find his dad taking orders! 😂

Damn, now I’m craving a cheeseburger.

Does anyone have any fun ideas about Grace's role in RE9? I'm going to assume that the man in the arm chair is the same person who speaks in the voice over:

"I know now that you're the one that I've been searching for. The special one. The chosen one... Miss Ashcroft?"

I still can't tell if that's an accent or just unusual diction, and it almost sounds like he ends the sentence on a question... which is strange given how certain he sounds about Grace earlier. If I understood correctly when Grace awakes in the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center in the demo her blood is being drawn. Maybe that's connected to the whole "searching for" angle. Her mother Alyssa cured herself after getting infected with the T-virus and we know that the antibodies Jill gained after her cure are really important in stabilizing other viral bodies. Some clever people on twitter also pointed out that Rhodes Hill is in Arklay so perhaps near if not exactly in Raccoon City given it's still mostly intact. The Umbrella training school is also in the Arklay hills and that was run by Dr Marcus. (And his protege Brandon Bailey - sorry I'm going to keep pushing my agenda on that : P) People have also pointed out the monster that chases Grace in the demo has more than a few similarities with Lisa Trevor, who was herself a test subject for the T-virus. Perhaps someone making the same mistakes as the researchers as the Spencer mansion? All of this seems really suggestive that there is some connection to Umbrella's early research and someone trying to either replicate or complete some of Spencer and Co's work. Perhaps Grace, through her mother (and maybe her father?) carries something needed to complete whatever it is.

It's Maddie's first day back on the job. Chim is still mad at Buck and worried about Maddie. OMG There is a fire at the dispatch! Flaaaaamessss and smokesssss everywheeerere... Albert and Maddie get lost in the fire, Buck saves them. Or Albert and Buck save Chim and Maddie. Or Chim saves them. Wait wait no... Everybody gets lost in the fire and Eddie saves them all, guiding on the radio! But no, episode is May Day. So it's May saving them! May Day, capish? In the end, Albert hugs Chim. Chim hugs Buck. Buck hugs Maddie. Maddie hugs May. Bobby and Hen hug them all. Then Buck and Eddie meet and hug in the most huggable hug of the hugs. Then the music plays what a huuug what a huuug what a huuuug...

Nostalgia...

So, I got two screen. I got a folder on my desktop called ‘wallpapers’ full of magic arts, and my display is set to ‘slideshow’. Folks that have been on my streams will probably know this (side note: streams are currently on hiatus. got some stuff behind the scenes to sort out first, including a patreon before that may deadline bs)... Anyhoo, I’m sitting here with Tumblr and youtube going on the left screen, and I haven’t opened anything on my main screen just yet, so have been seeing neat art passing by, and among them was this:

And I am transported back nearly 2 years and I would so love to send my conciousness back to the past me of that time. So many things I would do differently. But also, just all the memories, the fun. I generally liked that christmas (if I recall, I -think- that was the first chirstmas that me and @silvercrossfox started to officially be a couple... that or the year before? It’s been a few years XD, but I do know christmas is our official anniversary of that)

I’m not saying now isn’t good, it’s just the vibes lately are definately different and I miss the vibes of Kaladesh. Also I miss seeing Nissa and Chandra side by side like this. Up till Amonkhet, just about any set Nissa appeared, so did Chandra. X3 I real miss it so much

So many times together. X3 It was a fun time. I did my first magic fan arts during that time.

And even the Kaladesh set symbol was just something I loved seeing. Just in general, and especially in the mythic orange (not for the cards per se, I mean literally I love the way the Mythic Kaladesh symbol looks and feels)

I was in a transition to a new job at the time too. Of course, that would end in a bad summer, but still, at the time, there was so much hope, despite some obvious world issues going on.

Nostalgia can be rough though. If we get caught up in it too much, we fail to move forward, so see what we have going on now and coming soon...

Do you think any of Rama's brothers might have fainted at their own wedding? Things are going well, people are happy, and *boom* one of them just goes down?

Given that they’re all ~16, Hindu weddings can go on for a while with little-to-no break time scheduled (at least all the ones I’ve seen/been to, for the couples getting married, that is; that audience is usually socializing/eating/doing whatever), and there’s not one but FOUR sacred fires presumably burning in the vicinity, I think that is entirely possible, even leaving aside the question of nerves on their end :O
