May I request, if you haven’t done it before, Silver and Malleus (separately) trying to have a nice time with their s/o but Lilia bursts in with all of his photo albums, baby books, and scrapbooks and embarrasses the HELL out of them with photos and mementos and stories that go with everything in the books. And the second they leave to get water and try to calm down, Lilia busts out the bath and baby booty pictures (you know that one photo of the baby laying on their tummy and they’re naked save for a bin or bonnet and it’s really cute but it’s obviously embarrassing). Lilia’s cottage is almost destroyed as the boys chase him to try and destroy those fucking pictures as S/O is just happily looking at another book full of cute and embarrassing pictures.
If this is too much or too weird, I understand if you delete this. Please stay healthy and safe and hydrated, and please have a nice timezone!
Not the baby pictures!!
Contains book 7 spoilers! (Not really but also yes?) Sorry it took so long!! Hope you like it! If anything from the book is wrong please inform me and I'll will fix it! I really need to reread the book honestly.
Lilia has very few baby photos of malleus, not because he didn't want to take photos of malleus but because he wasn't around a lot when malleus was a baby. Plus around the time malleus was a baby, cameras were a rare thing. But the few he does have, he keeps very safe with all the other things he deeply cares for.
It was the first time you all had been out to lilias cabin with all the boys, since they didn't want to leave you and grim at ramshackle during the cold weather. Lilia of course takes any chance he can to tease the boys, and the perfect time comes when he pulls out an old box from the back of his closet.
Malleus immediately pales upon seeing the box, he doesn't really mind the way he looks in baby photos, just that he was a bit of a crybaby when he was younger. So half of the photos Lilia does have, it's of him crying. He does not need you seeing that. While he could just burn the book to a crisp, it's already in your hands and he doesn't wanna accidentally hurt you.
So he settles for glaring at Lilia while you both are going over the photos and giggling at the ones you think are adorable. Thank the sevens that he doesn't have any of him in the bath, he's definitely gonna burn that book before the two of you leave though.
Lilia was around a lot more for Silver's childhood, so he has tons upon tons of photos of sliver. Like probably two photo albums worth, plus some loose ones he hasn't put in a book yet. As soon as he sees that box in lilias hand he immediately knows what's gonna happen next.
Silver immediately tries to get the both of you two to leave early but as soon as you see the box the curiosity has won you over. Now all three of you are on the couch, sliver blushing out of embarrassment while the two of you coo at photos of him. At least he hasn't pulled out the bath photos yet- and he spoke too soon.
Baby sliver butt naked in the bath with bubbles surrounding him so not something you thought you were ever gonna see. Lilia is already talking about giving you copies of photos.nSlivers gonna get rid of that bath photo before you can get a copy of it. He doesn't need you to have that as blackmail, though he knows you would only show it to others out of love for him.
silver vanrouge. when silver wakes up from a dream, you are the first thing he searches for.
Silver finds you in the aftermath.
Amidst the wreckage of it all, even in this world that possesses so much grandeur of magic, you are a vision that he has only ever seen in his most darling dreams; bloody and exhausted, the tips of your fingers stained black with blot─ the same colour as Malleus's hair, the same colour that the beloved Draconic Prince bleeds now as Divus fusses over him. But his brother is a Fae of the greatest breeding, a dragon's son born from acrid flame and green lightning; his skin would stitch itself back together, and he would be whole again.
Silver cannot yet say the same for himself.
He is exhausted. The sweet arms of Morpheus beckon to him, the home of his magic calling him back to that dreaded sleep. Or perhaps it is just the strain of it all, the force of his Unique Magic being stretched over so many dreams in so many hours. His boots scuff over the gravel and debris as he drags himself towards you, step by step.
"Silver?" Somewhere through the fog that clouds his eyes and the ringin in his ears, he registers the uncharacteristic softness of Sebek's voice. Silver lifts his foot to take another step, but finds the weight of his own muscle too much, and he stumbles. Sebek startles, and Silver feels him grasp his arm. "Silver! Don't─"
"I─I'm fine," Silver croaks, his voice hoarse. His eyes blur, but still you cut a figure at the center of it all, haloed by the light of the rising sun and the darkness of his brother's blood. His Sleeping Beauty, your head raising as you hear the commotion. There are more people clamouring to aid Silver, but there is only you in the reflection of his irises; your expression as your brows furrow, eyes widening as you stumble to your feet.
"Silver?" you call his name, oh-so-soft despite the distance that stands between the two of you. Silver is reminded again of that vision you in his dreams, welcoming him home in that soft voice and sweet smile. He takes another step, his body protesting.
You're a dream.
"What are you...?" Lilia croaks as he sees the beaten human passing, but his son only rests his palm over his shoulder, squeezing the small frame of his father. Silver stumbles forward as if he held the burden of a hundred heavy stones. A beat passes, and Lilia realises what he wants.
He does not stop him from reaching for it.
You had stood by now, your own exhaustion forgotten as you realise where Silver is headed. He must be a sight for sore eyes, battle-beaten and exhausted beyond all measure. And still, he has to get to you─
You're still there.
Silver recognises that you are nothing like the visage in his dreams. You had been sweeter then, softened around the edges and holding none of that bitterness you cradled to yourself in your time in Night Raven College. No overblots, no slacking headmasters─ just that little cottage and the garden in your backyard, your lover's boots tracking mud and soil over the carpet. And still he wanted─ he longed.
After that long, endless night, all he wanted was you again.
"Silver!" you gasp as you reach him, and Silver allows himself to hold you. His arms, bruised and weak as they are, wrap around your waist, holding onto you with the strength that he had lacked just earlier. "Oh, Great Seven, are you─"
"You're here," he exhales breathlessly, pressing his forehead to yours. His arms shift, the scratched surface of his palms pressing to your cheeks, and he hears your breath hitch.
( He had held you like this, once upon a dream. It is only now that Silver realised how much more tender it felt in reality. )
"…Silver?"
"You're here," he whispers again, almost as if he can say nothing else. A weak laugh bubbles at his throat. "I found you."
For that single moment suspended in time, you say nothing. But then Silver feels your arms wind around his torso, reciprocating his embrace.
"You found me," you murmur, squeezing him lightly. Silver wonders, as your nails dig into his back through the fabric and leather of his uniform, if you are subconsciously trying to assure yourself that he is not a dream.
"Did you have a bad dream?" you ask him.
It takes a moment for Silver to realise you are attempting something of a joke, perhaps to ease the tension and the horror of what had just transpired and ended moments before. Another laugh bubbles at his throat, one of disbelief and such tender fondness.
"No," Silver admits honestly, pulling away. His hands cup your cheeks still, ever so gentle. "No, I didn't."
You laugh then, equal parts fond and puzzled. Silver leans forward, pressing his forehead against yours; his nose nudges against yours, his breath warm and airy and real. You shudder, clutching onto him tighter.
"What's gotten into you?" you ask with another breathless laugh, even though you are now the one clutching to him like a lifeline.
Silver lets out a slow, shuddering breath, brushing the traces of blood that still bled from a cut at your cheekbone. This close, he can count the little marks upon your skin and pinpoint the exact colour of your irises. He imagine you again in his dreamscape, domestic and sweet and oh so lovely.
"You're a dream," he says softly.
You stare at him like a deer caught in the headlight, doe eyes unblinking. Someone, perhaps his father or Sebek, chokes on their spit somewhere close by. Silver does not notice. A moment passes, then another, and then your eyes crinkle into these lovely crescent moons, and you begin to laugh.
"Well, aren't you sappy today?" you muse, lips quirking up into that soft smile that Silver oh so longs to kiss. "What's the occasion?"
He is suddenly struck with a sense of deja vu, like he had heard your words before. His heart stutters, and suddenly, he finds himself speaking, the words not properly registering in his mind before they come tumbling out of his mouth.
"I'm no prince," Silver confesses. The sun had begun its ascent in the horizon, casting a new dawn upon this land of dreams come true, but all he can see was you in the daylight, the sunbeams illuminating your lovely expression of shock. He goes on before he can stop himself. "Perhaps I could have been, once. Not anymore. I am the brother of an heir, the son of a general─ but I have neither title nor fortune to offer you."
"Silver," you say softly, breathless. Your eyes are soft, almost pitying as he seems to put himself down.
"The man who loved the woman who bore me was no different. All we have is the iron of our blade and the promise of a knight's devotion. And yet─" Silver swallows. "And yet─ And yet, I long for more with you. More than the sworn oath from a knight to his monarch─"
Sebek makes a noise of protest, only to be cut off by the swift jab of Lilia's elbow against his ribs.
"─more than a promise of a friend to be by your side."
You laugh weakly, almost unsure as you glanced around. "Silver, are we doing this here─?"
"I dreamt I was back home again," Silver goes on, cutting you off─ not too unkindly, he hopes. He understands that it is most improper to cut someone off as they are speaking, but he needs to speak first, he needed you to know all the things he did not dare to confess to you before─ "Lili─ My father, he─ he has a lovely cottage in the forest, far in the outskirts of Briar Valley. There's a garden out in the back where we grow our fruit and vegetables, and the trees in the forest bear fruit sweeter than anything you've tastes and I─ I─"
He falters then at the look in your eyes, the soft and knowing curve of your lips as he stumbles over his words. Silver looks down at the scuffed toes of his boots, swallowing once more before he speaks again.
"I─ I love─ I love you," he breathed out shakily, almost pleading for you to acknowledge the truth. You had kissed and he had held you in his arms before, but such an admission... Silver feels as though he is teetering at the edge of a cliff. "I have nothing to offer you except an oath that I will hold these affections for you dearly till the end of time and that cottage where I learned how to love and hate and live all the same─"
"Silver─"
"But just a word from you, and I will be silent forever─"
"Silver!" you raise your voice to be heard over his rambling. It is so uncharacteristic, almost odd to see this boy that had only shown his affection to you through lovely and subtle gestures and whispers rather than the bold declaration of those three certain words, awoken from his cursed sleep as a rambling, flustered mess.
Silver raises his head, helpless as you laugh sweetly at him, and he loathes to think of a world where he had never woken up and heard the true melody with his own ears again. He wants to fulfill his oath, to give you all the love he possesses in this wretched body of his, and then some.
Your fingers come to card through the matted strands of his hair, moonshine under all the dust and dirt. When your hand comes to cup his face again, tilting his head to meet your gaze, your eyes are just as lovely as he remembers in his dream.
"I love you too."
And Silver's heart sings to have its song reciprocated once again, to be loved by you as he was once upon a dream. You laugh again at the expression on his face, that sweet melody that he wants to hear for the rest of his life. He has no ring to give you now, but Lilia hollers something at him, and Silver's mind is so dazed by the smile on your face that he does not realise it until you take his face in your palms and kiss him hard.
"Come home with me?" he whispers hoarsely when you pull away, and his mouth still seeks to touch your cheek, your nose, the space between your brows. Silver loathes to part from you again. Perhaps he never will.
"Yes," you giggle, lips meeting his once again. "A thousand times, yes."
— summary; silver uses his unique magic to soothe you after you have a nightmare.
— notes; please donate to my kofi if you like my work. and know that i am mentally smooching everyone who reblogs my stuff.
❋ What with all the house wardens over blotting one after another, and your growing anxiety to return home, it’s no wonder that you’ve been plagued with nightmares lately, ones that have you jolting awake in the middle of the night, heart racing, gripped with a lingering sense of dread.
❋ It’s the kind of exhaustion that even your friends notice, and Grim’s especially on edge because he misses the way you’d smile when you woke up and found him curled up next to you.
❋ Like many of your concerned friends, Silver’s seen the dark half-moons ringing your eyes, how your smiles are few and far in between these days. He wishes he could help somehow — and as he drifts off to sleep that night himself, his unique magic starts to work.
❋ When his eyes flicker open once more, he finds himself in your dream, surrounded by shadows and an eerie stillness. He's trapped inside one of your nightmares. Silver feels a pang of protectiveness and moves closer, his heart stirring as he sees you curled up, tense even in your sleep.
❋ He gently takes your hand, his presence calm and grounding in the storm of your nightmare. Quietly, he begins to hum a lullaby. It’s a melody he remembers Lilia singing to him when he was younger. His voice is soft, but steady, wrapping around you like a protective charm.
A warm cradle
Starlight and joy
My eyes are watching over you still, let’s be together
With no fear, even if we wake from this dream
Sleep, sleep, my beloved child
In dreams, I pray you would be guided to walk toward the light
❋ His soothing lullaby fills your dreams, a serene contrast to the chaos of your nightmares. It brings you a sense of peace, and slowly, the nightmares fade away, replaced by a gentle warmth. You find yourself relaxing, the bitter tension in your body draining away.
❋ Though you don’t remember much of the dream when you wake up, there’s a strange peace in your heart and a vague feeling of warmth. It’s like someone was there to chase away the darkness, someone with a voice as soft as moonlight.
❋ Over the next few days, the lullaby sticks with you, and you catch yourself humming it absentmindedly as you move through the college hallways. But whenever you try to place it, it slips through your fingers like water, a memory from a far-off dream.
❋ (Okay, so you might have butchered it just a bit.)
❋ Regardless, Malleus and Lilia overhear your singing and it makes them freeze.
❋ Lilia’s eyes are practically glowing. He knows that song; he used to sing to both Silver and Malleus when they were younger.
❋ Floating over (and scaring you witless in the process), Lilia gives you a knowing smile and asks playfully, “Now, where did you hear that song, dear? It’s an old favourite of mine.”
❋ You tilt your head thoughtfully, your brow furrowing as you try to recall. “I think . . . It was in a dream?” The words feel strangely fitting, almost poetic. “Once upon a dream . . .”
❋ Lilia chuckles softly, sharing a knowing grin with Malleus. He can already guess the truth – it wasn’t Malleus who sang that song, and it definitely wasn’t him. It could only be Silver.
❋ Lilia decides to keep his son’s secret for now. He’s sure that you’ll find out for yourself one day, but for now, he’s just enjoying seeing this young love play out.
Summary: You've always loved royal garden parties. And this one is even more special, considering you just met a very special person...
Pairing: Silver X Fem!Reader
Genre: Fluffy Drabble
Word Count: 740
Warning: Slightly OOC (imo)
Masterlist
Ever since you were little you’ve always loved garden parties. The tea, the flowers, the colorful clothes, the wonderful cakes, and delicious music; everything was always perfect. It was at these parties you had the most fun. Sometimes, you’d be asked to show off your dance skills, knife skills, or both at the same time. Each time, you were proud to show off your progress to the guests and always graciously received their praise with a bright smile.
It was at this party in particular, that you had caught the eye of a rather dashing gentleman. You had just finished showing off your latest knife dance when you noticed him. As soon as you both locked eyes, he made his way over to you with a bright yet flirty smile.
“You were amazing.” He mused. “Where did you learn such an intricate skill?”
“I learned how to use a knife from the Captain of the Royal Guard himself and I learned to dance from my mother.” You explained. “It seemed natural to me to combine the two, don’t you agree?”
“Yes, it was quite a spectacle to behold.” He admitted with a nod. “But I’m getting ahead of myself. My name is Silver, Prince of Bladevale. It is a pleasure to finally make your acquaintance.”
You nodded as you took his hand. Your breath slightly hitched when he pressed a feather soft kiss to your knuckles. Clearing your throat, you took the cup of tea a servant handed you and took a sip. “So, you’re my betrothed, Prince Silver?”
He gave another small nod as he averted his eyes. “It appears as though I am, Your Highness.”
“Now don’t get all nervous on me now. Just because I mentioned our engagement doesn’t mean I want to follow the strict and preposterous rules of courtship.” You lightly teased. “I’m glad you’re here, actually. I’ve always wanted to meet you and a garden party is the perfect place to meet.”
“I’ve wanted to meet you as well.” He returned his gaze to you and gave a small smile. “You’re much lovelier in person. Ah, I mean-”
“I know what you mean.” You nodded with a meaningful smile. “You’re quite dashing yourself. But please, regale me with tales from Bladevale.”
He shrugged, turning to his own tea cup. “There’s not much to tell. It’s not as charming as your kingdom is. If anything, Bladevale is much smaller.”
“Oh, well, I hope the sheer size of my kingdom isn’t too intimidating for you.”
Silver shook his head. “No! I didn’t mean it like that. I meant it as a compliment. I’m so sorry if I offended you. Your kingdom really is wonderful, I promise.”
You gently took his hand in yours, stopping his rambling. “It’s fine, Silver. I know what you meant.”
“Oh. Okay, good.”
Still holding his hands, you sighed. “I’d like to visit Bladevale someday. I’m afraid I haven’t been anywhere outside of my own kingdom.”
“I see…” He trailed off before squeezing your hands. “How about this: for my wedding gift to you, we go and see the world. How does that sound?”
You couldn’t believe it. Silver's proposal sounded almost too good to be true. And yet he said it with such conviction that it just had to be true. Before your brain could catch up with your actions, you pressed a quick kiss to the corner of his mouth. Realizing what you did, you blushed as his mouth popped open.
“I do apologize for overstepping my boundaries.” You mumbled.
Silver shook his head before kissing your hands again, letting his lips linger longer this time. “You have no idea how much I wanted to do that as soon as I laid eyes on you.”
“Your Highness!” A miffed voice trilled.
Turning around in your seat, you saw your stuffy aunt with her pointed nose in the air. She did not look too happy to be witnessing your public display of affection with your betrothed. You couldn’t help but giggle, while Silver looked positively mortified at being caught.
Standing up, you gave him a polite courtesy and said, “Forgive me, but I must attend to the other guests. Thank you for indulging me in such sparkling conversation.”
He nodded, giving you a respectful bow. “Of course, Your Highness.”
Quickly, when no one was looking, you grabbed his hands again and whispered in his ear, “Wait for me.”

(And I'm sorry to all you Lillia lovers/simps but I can't see him in a romantic way, I see him more like another parent figure to us in this fandom)
Now your left to take care of him and that's not an easy job.
---
After texting Silver and Malleus what happened and offering to take care of Lilia they agreed. You sighed and looked at what was now a baby fae who was not in your arms-
" LILLIA! Oh come on take my eyes off for a second and he's gone!" you internally screamed as you started looking for him.
" Lillia come on, this isn't a game come on out." then you heard something above you and saw Lillia hanging on the chandelier.
" HOW DID YOU GET UP THERE!" you cried as you got under the chandelier to see if you could catch him.
" I'm a bat!" Lillia giggled hanging upside down. You nearly had a heart attack when he swung to another part of the chandelier then jumped down and landed on the couch.
You ran over and picked him up examining him, Lilia squirmed in your arms. " I'm fine." he grumbled as you check him for injuries.
You rolled your eyes, " Well I'm not, I thought you might have gotten hurt." you sighed setting him on the couch he looked down as if he hadn't thought about that before.
" Sorry." he mumbled you saw that he was on the verge of tears you lifted his chin and wiped his tears.
" I'm sorry too I shouldn't have yelled at you." Lillia grinned and clung to your neck you smiled softly and began rocking him back and forth until he fell asleep.
" That was fast." you thought as you took him upstairs to your room and set him in bed then headed back down stairs to sleep on the couch.
---
The next morning you woke up to several screams coming from your kitchen and you ran there to see Lilia cooking. Oh boy.
He had decided to reward your kindness and willingness to take care of him by providing you with breakfast and Grim came down saw the mess and set it on fire.
You were silently grateful that Grim had done so but you did let Lilia tell embarrassing stories about Malleus, Silver, and Sebek when they were children.
When he saw you laughing with the sweetest smile on your face he smiled to himself. " Maybe I could beat Crewel with the adoption papers."
"the soft gentle chill of winter. sleeping under a tree & snuggling for warmth."
Silver is a sight to behold.
People at NRC don’t appreciate his facial features enough. It’s always Vil this and Leona that and sometimes even whispers about Malleus, but never his quiet guard. Silver, with his silky platinum hair and shimmering violet eyes. Silver, with his soft smile and gentle voice. Silver, with his strength and limitless kindness.
And you’re lucky enough to call him yours.
Ramshackle’s front lawn was coated in fluffy white snow, the chill of the breeze carrying snowflakes down to the Earth. You look over at Grim, who's sitting in the kitchen and clutching a mug of hot tea in his paws. He’s staring out at the world outside, comfortable in the very minimal heat Ramshackle retains. Silver is a little ways down your walkway with a shovel, scooping up snow and tossing it away from the stone path. You clutch the hot tea closer to your chest, watching him just in case he starts to get tired.
Of course, he isn’t Malleus’s guard for nothing. This is nothing to him.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to help?” you call out, brow furrowing.
He turns back to look at you and smiles, and you nearly pass out.
“You’ve asked me that seven times now.” he says softly, shaking his head, “I’m okay. You should go inside.”
“Don’t want to leave you alone out here.” you mumble, taking a sip of the tea to hide your undoubtedly flustered facial expression. “Seems cruel.”
“It’s not.” he murmurs, stabbing the shovel through the snow to keep it in place, “What would be cruel is it I made you stay out here to keep me company.”
“It’s not like it’s warmer in Ramshackle. Damn place has swiss cheese for walls.” you huff, and Silver laughs.
You almost drop your tea, you're so shocked. Silver schools his face to seriousness again, and you wish you could plead for him to show you that beautiful sound again.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to frighten you. You’re funny.” Silver offers you his hand, “Tell you what, I’ll take a break with you. Let’s get you warmed up, okay?”
“I should be saying that to you.” you pout, taking his hand.
Silver’s expression softens. He leans in and kisses your forehead, stealing the breath from your lungs.
“Come on, we shouldn’t bicker.” he tugs you inside, “There’s more important things to worry about.”
Silver with a reader who is also prone to falling asleep
characters included: silver!
Summary: Silver is nowhere to be found and Lilia suspects he’s sleeping somewhere odd again and wants YOU to find him.
author's note: this turned out shorter than I expected!!! sorry for the long wait, you guys!!!! <333 ty for the continued support on this and I hope you guys like it!!! likes, reblogs, and feedback highly appreciated!!!!! <3 (the purple text is Lilia talking, red is the reader, and blue for silver, both you and silver= green )
“Prefect!” A familiar voice called out. You turn around to find Lilia in front of you. “Could you do me a favor and find Silver for me? He’s most likely somewhere asleep again.” “and you want me to do this, why?” ”Because I know of your crush on him,” he smiles. “Fine.” You reluctantly agree and go searching for him all around campus and finally stop at the botanical garden. You did come across it before, but saved it for last in your search; in fear of coming across an angry, napping Leona instead. Luckily, it was Silver you found, instead.
Your first reaction was: “Why in Leona’s spot??? If he were here, he’d kill you!!!” You then calmed down and thought, “At least he isn’t, though.” You sit down on the grass where he’s asleep and decide to admire how pretty and ethereal he is. Soon, though, you get a bit drowsy and realize you’re falling asleep with him. You try your hardest to stay awake but eventually give in, due to how sleepy you were. Soon, with no one to wake the both of you up, the school day ended. Familiar footsteps approach you two. It was Lilia. Suddenly, you feel freezing ice-cold water dumped on you. Both of you wake up.
“Geez, y/n, I told you to FIND Silver for me, not fall asleep with him!”
“Sorry!!”
“I’m sorry, father…”
“It’s fine, I guess. You both slept the entire school day away, anyway.”
“WE WHAT?!”
"You slept the whole school day away."
Both of you apologize once again. Lilia and Silver head back to Diasomnia, while you head back to Ramshackle. But before you do, you stop Silver in his tracks.
“Wait! I’m really sorry for today. In return, I’ll get a classmate to give you the notes!”
Silver chuckles. “You really don’t have to, but thank you.”

A/N: The ask was deleted, but also... Was this another excuse to write for Silver more? You'll never know...
SILVER
"Silver.. are you ok..?" Y/n asked as they softly nudged Silver's shoulder, 'Did he dislike being called handsome??' Y/n thought.
The moment Y/n had mentioned how Silver was princely and handsome. He stopped in his tracks and went dead silent. It's worrying how still he is.
Y/n grabbed his face, "Are you there??" They asked, effectively breaking his train of thought.
Before you can even see his face, he lowers his head and apologizes.
Hopefully you didn't notice his face, which was bound to be the shade of Riddle's hair.
Reguardless he is very happy and pleasently supprised by your compliments. However, he'll probably shy away from you for awhile. But don't worry! He's just a bit embarrassed that's all.
Expect him to be 10x more sweet to you, did you notice the slight tint of pink on his face, while he was talking to you before?
If he's already fond of you, congratulations you've made it worse for yourself... or better...
Congratulations you've won the heart of your very own knight in shining armor.
