Something I thought of was that Silver wouldn't recognize Silent Salt for the main reason that, in her eyes, Salt is completely different than what she was told. Considering EFC has kept silent (haha) about what actually transpired the day the beasts were locked away, so obviously he'd lie to his own daughter.

Adding onto that, I'd have to think Salt wasn't that present overall in her upbringing (and also considering the fact that she was a new development when everything was already going down hill). So obviously Silver wouldn't know what her other parent looked like. More reason as to why she tries to act like EFC, lol

Also, the veil she wears is just cut from the one Salt was depicted in that one cutscenes/frame. Same thing for the wrapping she's wrapped in as a baby dough, since Salt felt like it'd keep her safe.

I also like to think that she usually has a hard time telling her dreams from reality, especially due to her connection to The Silver Tree. The connection to it (mainly when the beasts are sealed) gives her a hard time discerning what she sees. She'd still have this even without the connection though, it just makes it worse

My ideas are certainly subject to change, I'm just trying to see what ideas I like and connect it all from there,,,( *´∀｀)｡*ﾟ+

When there was an event with Millennial Tree Cookie, I wanted to draw a silver tree like a cookie, like Millennial Tree. But in the end, everything remained at the concept stage. :р

Between my own analysis and analysis I've seen other people doing, I really can NOT stop thinking abt that fuck ass Silver Seal Tree. It lives in my head rn. The prison has become the imprisoned bcuz that shit aint getting out any time soon.

Like. Holy shit being in that tree absolutely made all of the Beasts worse. Shmilk seems the MOST effected by it, since he's the only one to express any active hatred for his time in the prison after getting out, but no way in FUCK did the others get out unscathed are you kidding me!? THEY WERE LOCKED IN A FUCKING SENSORY DEPRIVATION TANK FOR CENTURIES THAT IS NOT GOING TO DO GOOD THINGS TO THEIR PSYCHES, EVEN IF THEY'RE THERE WILLINGLY!!!!!!!!! If you put a bunch of already severely traumatized people into another extremely traumatizing situation, chances are they're gonna come out the other end Significantly Worse. Doubling down on shitty coping mechanisms, lashing out, clinging harder to the things they lost, all that shit.

Also! The fact that Silent Salt made the decision to put them there at ALL is haunting me. Because like... holy shit. I don't blame him at all, genuinely I don't think he was in the state of mind to be making any decisions at ALL when he sealed them up, but that doesn't really make it better, yknow? He still tortured both himself and the other Beasts for literal centuries with his boyfriend standing guard and no sort of long term plans to maybe help all of them recover. That is not. That is not a good choice. That is not a well thought out solution. That makes it very clear that he fell into the same trap as other cookies did when it came to not seeing the virtues(himself included) as actual people. It's so fucking sad. And again the decision makes perfect sense for him as a character, especially considering all the fucking trauma that comes with Being A Virtue and SEEING YOUR ENTIRE LIFES WORK DESTROYED BEFORE YOUR EYES, which just makes it even more tragic!!!!!!

I guess the best way to summarize my feelings on the whole thing are just like... I don't blame Silent for locking them all up, but I also don't blame Shmilk for killing Elder Faerie once he got out. Silent made the best choice he possibly could've given all the information he had and his own deep seeded character flaws regarding his view of himself and his fellow virtues, but he was still wrong for it. He still only caused more pain and suffering for a group of people who had already experienced an eternity of it. Elder Faerie went along with it, knowing full well the potential consequences it could have for him, and then died because of a culmination of choices he made*. Silent deserved revenge for what the other Beasts inadvertently did to him, but sealing them in that tree with literally no back up plan did was cause more problems for all of them in the long run.

Despite the fantastical elements, it's still a very, VERY realistic storyline, and it's fucking EATING ME UP INSIDE BECAUSE THERE'S LITERALLY NO CLEAR CUT SOLUTION I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT DEVSIS IS GONNA DO NEXT IM SO SCARED-

*because this is the piss on the poor website I am adding an adendum: I DO NOT CONDONE MURDER!!!!!! Murder is bad. What I'm saying here is that Elder Faerie gave White Lily is life powder knowing full well that it WOULD kill him, WHILE the massively powerful threats to all of Cookie kind that he knows have a massive vendetta against him specifically were breaking out of their Evil Fucked Up Jail. Shmilk should not be allowed to kill people, but Elder Faeries death is really just the culmination of him repeatedly sacrificing himself until it finally bit him in the ass. Thank you.
