Anyway shoutout to John Williams, amazing composer and probably the one who made the other 50% of "holy shit amazing" soundtracks (Jurassic Park, Star Wars, Superman, and incidentally the original Harry Potter theme and score) who famously worked closely with the first openly transgender woman to be nominated for an Academy Award, Angela Morley. He respected her, and so far as I can see, has never made transphobic remarks.

Thinking about Slimeknight in a Soulmate AU---specifically the "first thing your soulmate says to you is written on your body" variation.

Because, I like to think that Derek and Avery never got their soulmark.

And, they spent their lives wondering why they were different. Why did everyone get to have someone except them? Was there something so fundamentally wrong with them that the universe didn't give them their other half?
