Scene from a ballet presented at Versailles in May 1664. On a pond before her palace, the enchantress Alcina rides on a sea-monster, flanked by two nymphs on dolphins.

Les plaisirs de l'isle enchantée was a seven-day series of entertainments held at Versailles, beginning on May 7, 1664. Given in honor of the queen mother, Anne of Austria, and Queen Marie Thérèse, it provided a pretext to display the power and wealth of the court of Louis XIV. This print depicts a scene from the ballet Le palais d'Alcine, arranged by the Duc de Saint-Aignan to music by Jean-Baptiste Lully, with scenic design by Carlo Vigarani. Presented on the third day of entertainments, the ballet was based on a subplot from Ariosto's epic poem Orlando furioso, in which Ruggiero (Roger of the print's caption) attempts to escape the toils of the enchantress Alcina. As the caption reveals, the ballet closes with the destruction of Alcina's palace amid a display of fireworks.

Non voglio fare polemica, o forse sì.

Io mi chiedo una cosa semplice:

Se l'anno scorso Sanremo l'hanno vinto i Maneskin con uno stile Rock e con una canzone Rock e sono andati all'eurovision e hanno vinto pure quello con la loro canzone rock, hanno vinto dappertutto con tanto di Rock & Roll Never Dies

Com'è possibile che nella prossima edizione di Sanremo non c'è UNO, UNO SOLO ALMENO, artista rock? E non dite che Emma è rock per favore.

Io sarò di parte perché di fatti il rock è il mio genere preferito.

Non chiedo che Sanremo sia tutto rock, ma penso che dovrebbe avere una certa varietà di genere e mi pare che quello del 2022 non abbia granché di varietà, si può riassumere in Pop & Rap.

E non solo, non è soltanto questione di genere ma anche di BAND, praticamente solo Le Vibrazioni poi tutti singoli o in coppia, trii forse ma comunque non "band".

Cioè considerando questi due fattori "band" e/o "rock", per me in effetti la migliore edizione di Sanremo degli ultimi anni musicalmente parlando è stata quella del 2019

E oltre a questo c'erano anche poeti della musica di un certo livello come Cristicchi e Silvestri

Mi manca tanto quell'edizione 🥺

Per me davvero musicalmente è la migliore degli ultimi anni.

Addirittura 10 canzoni di quell'anno mi piacevano quasi allo stesso livello, non sono mai arrivato a così tanto per un Sanremo.

I Maneskin a febbraio 2021 hanno acceso una scintilla che mancava da tempo, una band, rock, che non solo arriva in alto classifica, perché la band di solito stanno proprio agli ultimi posti eh, ma proprio hanno vinto.
