I Made a Game

Confession: Remastered by ColeBlackblood

Nearly eight years ago, I tried my hand at making my first game as part of a Game Jam on itch.io geared towards new developers. It was a buggy, poorly made mess, but I absolutely loved the process, and it got me interested in game development. A month or so ago, a new Game Jam popped up with the theme of "Improve an Old Project' and I figured "Fuck it, let's remake it". A lot of mistakes, panicked hours, and rigorous bug testing later (a good amount after the Jam was over - sorry about that, it's hard to make a solo game in only a week or so) - I am now happy to share the full result with you. The game is entirely free to play, with the only requirement being the ability to use an unzipping program like Winrar (or 7zip, if you're on Windows 11) to access the game itself. I do have an option to donate if you wish, but it is absolutely not required.

There are 3 "canonical" endings to the game, and a ton of hidden interactions, extra dialogue, and flavor text galore to interact with (cause I absolutely love clicking on everything to find all the little descriptive text and character thoughts, and wanted to include that in the game) Description down below, and I hope you all enjoy! I heartily accept any and all feedback - positive, negative, or both.

The Script

And there is the script from the first chapter. Just want to show the amount of character I put... So, we have a lot of romantic interest, not all the character, obviously.

I'm working in the demo. The demo is only the Senku's route, with all de affection events and special drawings. I'm talking with the artist and training to make three types of special drawing (Female, Male and Non-binary).

The demo has a date reveal, June 2023 in Spanish and Jule 2023 in English. I'm the main translator... So, it's hard to be a one-man job.

I'm a big fan of Dr. Stone and that anime is gonna have my first fan game Sim Date.

I'm thinking about multiple ruts, not only bad and good ending.

Maybe it's just the aesthetic, but I don't have screenshots of the code.
