hello! c: for any of you who dont know me, my name is echelon, or avry, and ive been a part of mweor for many years. like many others on this site, im incredibly sad to see it not being updated, and im also incredibly concerned that at some point it could fade away entirely. that being said, ive been looking into creating a new website, this isnt a new idea to me at all, ive thought about building a site in the past, but learning about mweor's failure has driven me to my "goal" faster. although running a website will be new to me, moderating and being a part of one wont. ive modded for sim sites in the past and have been part of 3 actively for the past few years. (mweor, however, has been the site ive been most active on. ive bee here since it opened basically.) for the time being i will be the only artist (my da is here: ) and will be done in the style of the most current drawing (most likely). my boyfriend, seth, will be coding the site. he is familiar with php, java script, html, css, and probably more-but the aforementioned are likely what will be most used. so what is this site going to be our website will focus on a species of creatures similar to large (canine-ish) foxes with huge ears. (my icon is an example of the species that would exist on the site.) there will be multiple species. in the same way that mweors are based off of cats and elements, our species (which are tentatively being called vendettas) will be based off of things such as plague, stealth, magic, etc. our site will focus on mainly two aspects which have many sub categories connected: breeding: breeding will be done using genetics, we will feature many different growths and markings. custom *vendettas* will be available by purchase of our special currency (they dont have a name yet, but will be currency that can be purchased using paypal or by obtaining it on the site through some special events or by buying it from other users). the way to create a custom vendetta is by summoning the celestial forces by using stardust. (stardust does essentially the same thing statues on mweor do, but with a multitude of changes). for each breed of *vendetta* there will be four kinds of stardust and four kinds of great one's stardust. what's the difference? stardust will allow a user to create a custom design with custom markings and growths with all common traits. for example: hallowed stardust: allows up to 2 markings per custom *vendetta* seraphic stardust: allows up to 4 markings per custom *vendetta* ambrosial stardust: allows up to 6 markings per custom *vendetta* divine star dust: allows up to 8 markings per custom *vendetta*, these will be incredibly rares. great one's stardust allows a user to add up to two rare or godly traits. a godly trait shows the beauty of a vendetta, and allows them to add +5 stat points to any stat of their choice during creation. (see stats, below for more information). a rare trait shows the elegance of a vendetta, and allows +2 stat points per rare trait. (see below) a great one's stardust must be used at the same time as a normal stardust, there will be an option to mix in great one's dust during creation of the vendetta. however, if, for example, you purchase a hallowed stardust and a holy great one's stardust, you can still only have 2 markings/growths/whatever on your vendetta, one will be rare and the other common. (these can only be used on custom vendettas) holy great one's stardust: allows 1 rare trait per vendetta (+ 2 stat) rapturous great one's stardust allows 2 rare traits per vendetta (+ 4 stat) amygdala's great one's stardust allows 1 godly trait per vendetta (+5 stat) heavenly great one's stardust allows 2 godly traits per vendetta (+10 stat) stats: stats used will be: luck intelligence endurance strength magic stats will effect multiple things, a custom vendetta is given 7 stat points, more can be gained by adding a great one's stardust. stat points can be distributed to whichever of the 5 categories listed, for example, 7 could be added to luck alone, however, that wouldnt make a very decent character. stat points are also passed down through breeding, which will be kept a secret for now, so as not to give everything away. (rare and godly traits can also be passed down, although this is incredibly rare.) so what are the stats used for? stats will be used for a few things in the game: first and foremost: roleplaying, whilst roleplaying a vendetta (and there will be tribes, or something of the sort) it's stats will be kept in mind. we hope to implement a dice rolling aspect into our roleplaying community by coding it into specific posts. (like dnd). roleplays can go one of two ways: a free roleplay where either everybody can make up the story as they go along (like most roleplays here)/a person can act as a game master and create a story where the characters have to "roll" (click a button) to perform certain tasks. (very much like dnd) or, in the second way, form a tribe of sorts, take over some territory, and defend it , while also befriending tribemates. this being said, you will be asked when signing up to join a specific tribe, there will be several. (more information about this later) these roleplays will be run by users for users, we wont interfere too much (but we will definitely join in!) we will also use stats for contests: sparring beauty and more! *special items will be awarded to winners!* ---- so besides custom creation and breeding, and all that jazz, what else? well, there will be a forum, of course, and a ton of lore. we hope to ramp up exploration of the site by adding in bits and pieces of lore everywhere, from site games, to random challenges, to everything else. there will be gods and goddesses to look up to, there will be many different holiday events where rare items will be found, and we hope to be able to successfully interact with many users. we really are looking for this forum to be user based, and we want to listen to your ideas. our boards are so far planned as this (theyll probably be named differently): rants junkyard (general topics) a board to chat about the site (lol, nameless) show off board bug board suggestions board {we will not look at the suggestions board, INSTEAD, we will allow on a tally counter, for every supporter the site will add a tally, if the topic gets, say, 15 supports, the support will be dropped into a box for either seth or i to look at and possibly implement. this way the best of the best ideas get used} an art board (for sales and general postings, writing is included) there will be personal pages where your vendettas will be displayed. items/pets/backgrounds/etc to decorate your vendettas and to up their stats. (note: not all items will update stats, some are just for looks c:) and much more of course, we cant say everything because there is just too much to mention, and some things will remain a surprise. HOWEVER our website is only an idea right now, we need people to help us. we are going to buy a domain that will remain as ONLY a forum for the time being to generate ideas and interest, and hopefully get people hooked. that domain will remain as a forum until we can start collecting some donations: we are going to open a gofundme. ANY amount helps, really, and truly it does, and the link will be posted below. by funding us through gofundme we promise to donators that they will get something special. all donators will be given something, however, those who donate more will be given better things. we havent worked out what will be given to who for what cost yet, but we will find out. in the beginning the domain we will be purchasing is coming out of our pockets, and it's not all that cheap, so help would be wonderful <3 if you cant donate, SIGN UP and TELL OTHERS! it would be so much to us if people could get the word out about this site, and once the forum has been put up, if you could link people to it, it would make us to happy. the more foot traffic the better. we are going to be using ads as well to draw revenue to the site in the beginning in order to make money. we ask that you take adblock off when on our site, as it will make us money that we can then use to help to website. Switcheroo Your Hybrids In The Wishing Well And With Essences!

All of the Masquerade sprites have left the Wishing Well, but a new sprite has brought back hybrid switches! Take any hybrid to the wishing well and you will have the chance to flip it's front and back half! So, for example, if you have an Kalan-Ayalon and have access to the Wishing Well, you can now try your luck with a few wishing pennies and switch it into a Ayalon-Kalan! You will also have the chance to pick up the Switcherooiii Sprite. And for anyone who doesn't yet have Wishing Well access, you can purchase a Switcheroo Essence Pack in the Cash Shop. Microraptaras!

August's unique khimbit is the Microraptara! These will be available for roughly two weeks. Standard foraging treats are now available, and dice, quest, and forum treats will be available between now and tomorrow. As a reminder, standard and special microraptaras can share the same markings, but only special microraptaras can have lineart edits (horns, feathered crests, etc). You will need a standard bone treat to lure standard microraptaras, which can be obtained via foraging, or won randomly when posting in the forums (max one per day), playing dice or doing quests. Roughly 200 standard microraptara treats will be released daily, with 100 available via foraging and 100 split between dice, forums, and quests. You will need a special bone treat, or special double bone treat, to lure special raptaras. These are available from the cash shop - 6 beads for a single and 8 beads for a double. When using a double treat, you have a chance to receive a random bonus microraptara! To use your bones, visit the Khimbit Habitats in the events drop-down of the main navigation menu. August Treasures Have a Space Theme!

August monthly treasures are here and they are out of this world! Deep Space Backdrop I and II Constellation Pack I and II Visiting Spacecraft Metallic and Green Constellation packs contain 3 NPC constellations each! These items are double-layered so you can use them as just stars, or with the NPC image superimposed. Note that August treasures ARE eligible for the turn-in event, which will begin later in the month and run into September. If you are super lucky, you may randomly find a Special Bone Treat when opening your packs, which will be useful when the monthly unique khimbit event begins ;) A couple of other pieces of news - as you may have noticed, Karos was able to overcome the lag issues related to deco, so we are now able to display/search the "all items" category in the deco items chest again, yay! Also, you can now view/use the new rainbow enigmas in the khimera demo. Enjoy!

Rainbow Enigmas Are Back!

That's right, rainbow enigma has now returned to the wishing well! NOW WITH EVEN MORE RAINBOWY GOODNESS! New enigmas have been added, bringing us to a total of 295 enigma patterns! If you have access, all khimeras with the rainbow marking (the actual rainbow marking, not a marking in a rainbow colour) can be brought to the well for a chance to change their rainbow marking a random enigma! You can use the rainbow enigma guide to see thumbnails of all enigma patterns (the newest patterns have not been added yet, but will be available soon!). New Enigmas are available! Also, clicking on any individual thumbnail will search for khimeras with that enigma opacity, for your previewing pleasure! As a reminder, Kai and Tai quests are the gateway to access to the Wishing Well. Once you have reached the gold trophy level, you may randomly receive access to the wishing well. The more rarity points you accumulate after gold level, the greater your chances of being granted well-access. You may then visit at any time, however, Wisu the Draak will not allow you to approach the well unless you bring a wishing penny. Wishing pennies are also randomly available from Kai and Tai once you have gained access to the well! The Enigma Essence and Mini Enigma Essence have also returned to the cash shop! And a new faenigma sprite may follow you home from the well!
