Me, presenting a patient: The abdomen is non tender to palpation, the Gtube is in place and draining. And this may sound funny, but it doesn't smell quite right.

Attending (rolling her eyes): It's a Gtube, they have a smell.

Attending on the phone with surgery after seeing the patient: The med student noticed the Gtube smelled funny and I agree, you need to come take a look at the patient.
