Mirror Door with lock

I made a mirror door that Sims can walk through. The door doesn't open. It's just like a magic mirror door. I changed the graphics from Simlogical Hospital Door with lock.

Actually, I want to make a secret bookshelf door, just like in TS2-4, but I'm not good at computer graphics. So…this is the only thing I can make, and this is the reason why the mirror door doesn't open.

I tried the Any Game Starter on Mod the Sims, but was having a hard time figuring out how to get it to recognize my mods folder. Probably user error on my part tbh. I'm on 1.67 so no Origin and I never use the launcher for anything.

However, I found another Any Game Starter over on Simlogical by Kuree that works beautifully. You can get it HERE.

One tip - when you extract the zip file, there will be a folder called "Release". You need to leave the .exe folder in that folder and double click on it from in there for it to work. If you remove the .exe from the folder (for example if you drag it out to your desktop) it won't work.

You just double click Starter.exe inside the folder to open the program and you'll get window will open that looks like the above. Click on the packs you want to disable and they will become greyed out. Because I don't use the launcher, I just click the "Start Game" button to fire it up. I just started using this and it seems to recognize my mods folder with no problem that I saw.

I haven't played around with the User Profile Control section, so I couldn't speak to how that works. Yes, I have every pack on disc lol. I was just thinking about starting a Lepacy (again), and this will be really helpful.

Pets Away Sign for TS2. "This simply looks round the lot every 5 Sim minutes and deletes any animals that don't belong to the family, hopefully before they even got onto the lot properly. Deleted animals are not dead, they are quite safe, and may appear again."

Let’s start with one of my all time favorite beds, the rustic shelf bed from Simlogical! I’ve included both the double and single bed meshes, but if you haven’t ever been to their site (1) I highly recommend it. They have some great stuff there. ^^ These beds come in all 110 colors of the AKS Object Rainbow 4 (2). The colors/actions that have been borrowed from the talented artists that created them are thusly labeled in the color names and the accompanying "AKSOR4ObjRnbw4ColorSIs" document. (The color files are individually labeled with their original creator, palette, and name, but it's all abbreviated so check the document to fill in the missing letters.)

Simlogical Sinks with Drains, improved lighting

Way back in the Sims 2 golden age, the one before this golden age, Inge created new meshes for kitchen sinks with side drains.

For whatever reason, they were set very bright, so that, even in the pics on the site, they appear white and washed out. They are actually chrome and quite nice. HoneyB left a note there about how to fix them, so I’ve fixed them. In my game, though, her numbers were still a bit too bright, so I have adjusted them down even farther. They look much better in my game. Perhaps they will in yours.

It’s a feature, that came with Bon Voyage. If you place a beach lot, your sims will be able to swim in the sea. You can also edit “normal” lots with simlogical’s beach portals. It’s a little fiddly, but might be worth it, when you want your sims to swim in the sea, but don’t want the beach (where you can’t build stuff (unless you use cheats), sims search for seashells, sunbath, build sandcastles etc.)

On that note I also want to point out this tutorial by iCad and this one by Vimpse. You will need Lotadjuster. Beach-lots are on the bigger side, but most simmers prefer small and/or flat lots. Both tutorials work (have tried it myself. Not in Twinhills, but in a tester-hood) and you’ll get similar results. I think there are also smaller beach lots available for download, but I prefer to build everything from scratch.

None of that works, if you don’t have Bon Voyage though :/ Hope this helps!
