Alec: last night me and Clary got drunk and bought a taco truck together
Clary: in our defense Jace left us to go patrolling *shudders* he was being a responsible adult
Jace: that's my job! I was being responsible for once!
Alec: so now we have a taco truck
Clary: tacos all the time, dudes
Simon: so does this mean you're seeing someone else, Fray?
Clary: what?
Simon: Alec. You're partnering with Alec to run a taco truck. And abandoning our dream to become comic book store owners that sell coffee and poptarts
Clary: Simon, we can still do that
Izzy, putting her arms around Simon: it's okay, love, it's okay.
Jace: what. . .? Also Clary I thought you were running the Institute with me?
Clary: I can do all three! I can be a successful business woman!
Jace: of course you can! I never doubted that!
Magnus: what has my life come to? What have we become?
(more crack treasures from my brain)
all this time and i’m still wondering why it was necessary to kill off george lovelace
When a hero falls, the guilt becomes unbearable.

They're so lovely.
With so many storylines I doubt this will be significant but any thoughts of how Maia might have to deal with the fact that Luke is the reason for Jordan being there?
I actually think this will be touched upon. Otherwise, why have Luke be the one to call the Praetor Lupus at all? They could’ve been simply monitoring Simon and decided to step in.
Regardless, I think this will/would be a very interesting confrontation. Especially because it was Maia who got Luke to find outside help for Simon.
I don’t think Maia will be able to rationalize this, at least not at first. All she will see is her abuser there, hanging out with her boyfriend, called in by her alpha. She will be too overwhelmed with emotion to realize this is all on Jordan: Luke probably called the Praetor Lupus and Simon has no idea Kyle and Jordan are the same guy. The one that can make the connection is Jordan and he has been doing his best to keep away from Maia.
But Luke and Simon are the ones close to Maia right now, the ones that, in her mind, will have betrayed her by bringing Jordan back. Maia is a hothead, she acts on impulse. I don’t doubt a storm is coming for all three of these characters (Maia, Luke, and Simon).
Once Maia is able to process her emotions and see things more clearly, I think she’d rightfully put all the blame on Jordan. But I don’t think that would be her first reaction and it certainly won’t come before she feels extremely betrayed by the two most important men in her life.
Missing these cuties.
