I really love your art! I’ve never seen anybody depict my body type as this sexy before. Like, real adoration of the body type. Most artists go for disgust arousal or they don’t draw fat right or they give characters really unrealistic proportions. Your characters, I feel like I could grab them and they’d be soft. I have a theory (based on experience) that the teenage years are just Defamiliarization Station, and the most well-adjusted adults are those who defamiliarized/disassociated the least as teens

#this is usually when 'we're all just brains inside meat sacks' mentality strikes #and from thence they deconstruct relationships - practices - standards - and traditions ad infinitum if the kid isn't grounded in reality #I know I did to some degree #it's different from critical thinking. but critical thinking develops fastest (not best--just fastest) in the teen years #which is why counterproductive defamiliarization is such a risk then #x #I think the number one thing that would have mitigated this in myself is delayed exposure to the internet #simple as #my most well-adjusted adult friends were not chronically online #and never exhibited a need or desire to distance themselves from their own lives as teens
