Day 1611 - Kitchen sponges can be an overlooked source of plastic. I recently started using our dish cloths instead and it’s worked out pretty well, though ours are a little too big. Anyone else have a sponge replacement you like?

So are #plastics always the worst thing for the environment? Like most things, the story isn’t simple. Single use #plasticbags take years to degrade and often end up lingering on land & sea. But single use #paperbags can have a big #carbonfootprint as this graph from @riverford shows. Fact is some things aren’t #simpleswaps, but when it comes to bags, reusable is the way to go.
