I made a 10 episode miniseries exploring my return to the Touge racing scene in Gran Turismo — An online community using a driving simulator to mimic a 1v1 street racing style.
I was in this scene a decade ago. I had a reputation for being pretty fast in a Toyota MR2, which later became my car in real life.
This community had a resurgence recently, so I pulled out the ol' green Toyota to race new & old faces. Surreal experience.
The series rapidly journals my significant races (formal 1v1 duels) over three months, and some key moments along the way.
I offer insights into my opponents, the scene overall, and my thoughts/strategies as a driver.
The "narrative" started simple, but it built to a finale that I'll remember for a long while.
I hope the series offers an intriguing POV into a driving sub-culture that extends well outside this one virtual corner.
It originates from mountain pass racing in Japan, popularized all over the west by media like Initial D and Need For Speed: Carbon.
Watch on YouTube here.
art of rally is pretty damn fun it's a very different experience to driving a proper sim in my rig but it has astonishingly good physics for what it is, you really have to pay attention to weight distribution and timing

Some favorites of the Graphic work I've done for the the sim racing team I'm one of the co-owners of Prismatic Motorsports Some of the coolest stuff I've made has been doing stuff for this team so far.
Something for a virtual Taillight Tuesday
Gonna take some better pictures tomorrw (well kinda today for me as well) but just needed to show my little tribute to my favourite racing driver.
