The hassle of playing around with layer filters to get these pastels to show through perfectly, but was well worth it!

An old boyfriend of mine joined the Air Force while we were dating. It's not a easy conversation but just try to keep an open mind. I hope you two come to the right decision :)

Just the fact that he is including you in the decision says a lot. The only piece of advice I'm comfortable giving is to say that you should tell him exactly how you feel. Not as a way to sway him one way or another, but as a way to make sure you both hear/say what is going on inside your mind. I wish the best for you both!

I absolutely get that it's frightening and long distance is difficult... but if he asked for your opinion he's still contemplating whether or not to go, and he's considerate of your feelings. I really hope you two can work it out <3

10 years? I know boot camp is like 2-3 months and he comes home for a little... then he gets orders somewhere. I hope things work out hun ♡

Thanks so much everyone for the replies and the advice. I feel a lot better about the situation now and you were all right who said he’s talking to me about it so wants to include me in the decision. We talked and I don’t think (I hope) he’s going to do it. It wouldn’t be for another year or 2 anyway so there’s lots of time to still think and talk about it until then. Panic over, haha.

Last Thing Googled: bubbles cat (although now I’ve also googled “how to find search history” and “how to find when started tumblr blog”)

Favorite Artist: Music or art? Either way I don’t have one. I haven’t followed music closely since I was a teenager, and that was quite some time ago. Back in the 80s and 90s, though, I was into my boy bands. Bros, New Kids on the Block, and then Take That in their jelly days. Before that, Kylie and Jason, all the typical SAW (Stock, Aitken and Waterman) stuff from the 80s. I was a big fan of REM in my teens. I went through a Sebastien Tellier thing a few years ago. I like taking musical nostalgia trips and can spend hours listening to old 80s and 90s stuff that I didn’t particularly rave over at the time but love now. Alison Moyet’s voice is delicious. I watch this frequently. As for art, my taste is eclectic and my preferences change all the time.

Song Stuck In Your Head: None right now, but almost every day I sing some variation of the old Toys-R-Us ad theme substituting Geoffrey’s name with Peggy, my cat. Because come on, we all do that, right? Or I do the same with the theme to this cartoon.

Last Movie I Watched: I can’t remember. I don’t watch many films. Probably something awful.

Last TV Show Watched: All of Fargo S2 over the past 2 days.

What Are You Wearing Right Now: Black jogging bottoms and a navy and white stripy t-shirt.

When Did You Create This Blog: March 2nd 2013

Do You Have Other Blogs: Yup, a few. None of them updated in ages. Outside of tumblr, I’ve been blogging since about 2003.

Gender: Female

Hogwarts House: No idea, I’m not a fan.

Pokemon Team: Valor, but I’ve stopped playing. Meh.

Favorite Color: Haven’t got one. I tend to have a preference for black, grey, earthy greens and oranges, and red when it comes to clothes but I rarely buy clothes so eh. 

Average Hours Of Sleep: My sleep schedule is all over the place. Sometimes 5 hours, sometimes 10.

Lucky Number: Don’t have one, but I used to hate the number 6. I remember turning 6 (32 years ago omg) and I was so upset. Then I turned 7 and was really happy.

Favorite Characters: Despite spending 13 years at university studying literature in one form or another, I don’t have a favourite literary character. From recent TV watching (past couple of years or so) I’d say Malvo from Fargo S1 is probably one of the best realised characters, but then that season is full of them. From video games, I’m going to have to say Shepard from Mass Effect. I don’t have a preference for male or female Shepard. My canon Shep for ME1 is Sheploo, but I played ME2 with both genders equally, and ME3 mostly with female Shep.

Dream Job: It depends what day you ask me. A writer of some sort is up there and has been since I was a kid. Also high on the list is smasher of capitalism. Other than that, I’m very low on ambition.
