This is a joke I (@highladyluck) am taking too far, as always. Thanks to @anyboli for the original inspiration, @gunkreads for the OpenAelfinn piece, @iliiuan for saying someone should actually make this a blog, and @pillowfriendly for the completely cursed header image manip and adorable icon (based off original art by @coreylansdell).

This is somewhere in the liminal space between an ask blog and an RP blog- ask questions about how Mat would respond to situations or characters, what Mat knows or doesn’t know, etc. Answers will probably not be delivered in-character but any dialogue will be.

Ok y’all if we couldn’t have Mat, Thom, and Noal taking on Sindhol, what’s the best 3-person dream team for the job? Bonus points for unimaginable chaos and/or mythic symbolism.

So thanks to Rand,* both redstone doorways to the Finn realm (Sindhol) are now broken, at least on the Sindhol side. In FoH the Eelfinn doorway gets melted, and in ToM we see the Aelfinn doorway is rubble in their realm, though intact on the Stone of Tear side.

So what happens now if you try to walk into the Aelfinn doorway from the Stone of Tear, and you hadn’t been through it previously?

a) nothing, you're still in the Stone of Tear basement b) you go through the door into Sindhol but you aren't protected by the treaty c) you get lost in an interdimensional void d) you get lost in an interdimensional void but it's actually just Tel'aran'rhiod e) you get lost in an interdimensional void but it's actually just a vacuole f) you get lost in an interdimensional void but it's actually just a portal stone world g) you get lost in an interdimensional void but it's actually just the Ways h) you get lost in an interdimensional void but it's actually just the skimming platform space i) you get lost in an interdimensional void but it's actually just the skimming platform space that happens to have the gholam in it >:D j) other

*Pretty sure uber-ta'veren Rand CHANNELING THE ONE POWER in Sindhol was the factor that broke the connection on the Sindhol side, and Moiraine only pushed Lanfear through the Eelfinn doorway while she was channeling because Rand couldn't kill her. So I'm going to say Rand started his illustrious career of breaking priceless magical artifacts here.

Andelia - For your Moridin going into Sindhol to fetch Lanfear conundrum, I throw down the gauntlet (and will probably be horribly balefired next Cards game) by suggesting his emotions for his fellow Chosen, no matter what they are. And yes, that would include Demandred.

Ha, well this would be interesting to write but somewhat... not entirely likely. :D
