watched the grand total of six existing episodes of sirens uk and I've convinced myself Rachid and Ashley were bound to become an item in a hopeful season 3 or 4

like it's not really subtle when you look at it? Rachid trying to convince them he's an "alpha type" in the very episode where that's established to be Ashley's type, his overt and insistent curiosity wrt to Ashley's sexuality; Rachid always has the strongest reactions to discussions of homosexuality, but he's also always the one starting them. I think a lot of their scenes togheter and Ashley consistently getting his comeuppance for racially stereotyping his partners were meant to act as sort of a starting point with which to develop their relationship.

anyway I'm a... Rashley...? thruther...? It's a one-season show from 2011 with like 50 fics on ao3, they definetely don't have a ship name
