Dear Gus & Magnus,
Mom's working today, so it's just us Choate boys. Gus was really hoping for snow last night, but I was proud of him for not being too disappointed this morning when there wasn't much. He ended up playing in the Grummers' front yard where they had some accumulate. I tried to keep Magnus inside as much as I could because it was cold, and mostly he stayed on my hip, but occasionally he'd let me put him down on his mat. He's gotten really good at sitting up and playing, which is nice. I needed to pack my suitcase for a trip to Atlanta tomorrow and I just sat him up on the bed while I did it. When Gus and Rhett played Operation in the floor, Magnus sat on his mat and watched.
Sitting up seems like a major milestone to me. He'll be walking in no time. Because we've already been through all this with Gus, I know what the future holds and I'm less afraid of it, and probably eager for him to be a little boy. Mom is the opposite and has said multiple times that she's enjoying having a baby more than when we had Gus -- mostly because she was so worried about our parenting abilities, I think, which is fair. We had no idea what we were doing. Maybe we still don't. But at least we have a better idea of what to expect.
Dad.

bokuto tries meditating with you for the first time since you do it so often and he’s curious— he falls asleep sitting up
you’re impressed that he’s sitting still for so long and concentrating and then he lets out a snore—
Let's Talk Posture - Here are Five Ways to Fix It
As I am typing this article, I fixed my posture. Posture is so important and it is spoken about very little. Sitting up straight not only helps with being more confident but it also helps with maximizing energy and decreasing fatigue. Bring it back to the Working Girl world, no one likes a hunchback in the boardroom. I’ve struggled for years with fixing this so let’s call this a Working Girl challenge for us.
If you aren’t convinced now, check out what the American Chiropractic Association says about good posture:
Helps us keep bones and joints in correct alignment so that our muscles are used correctly, decreasing the abnormal wearing of joint surfaces that could result in degenerative arthritis and joint pain.
Reduces the stress on the ligaments holding the spinal joints together, minimizing the likelihood of injury.
Allows muscles to work more efficiently, allowing the body to use less energy and, therefore, preventing muscle fatigue.
Helps prevent muscle strain, overuse disorders, and even back and muscular pain.
Regardless of how long you’ve been sitting like a hunchback, it is never too late to change. The best way to change things is to make sure that you incorporate it into your daily routine. Here are some ways:
Ways To Fix While Sitting & Working
Keep your ears aligned over your shoulders
Pay attention to your head position. Don’t let your head and chin sit forward of your shoulders
Sit back in your chair so the chair back supports your spine
Sit up straight with your shoulders relaxed, but not hunched or rounded.
Other Ways
Did you know sleeping on your belly can help with fixing your posture during the day?
For those days when you are in front of the computer - it is important to get up and move around. Alternating between sitting and standing throughout the work day helps with your posture.
For the non-gym ladies, this may be hard. Exercising is extremely beneficial in creating better posture. At-home workouts work also because moves such as lunges, planks & hip raises can be done in your bedroom.
Went to my uncles house for Easter (we were very carful about corona.) I got bored and doodled some of my family
My dad, my grandma, and my uncle (I didn’t finish that one cause I didn’t really like it
My brother (idk he made that face.) and my cousins.
