SPACE DEMENTIA

Music Reference: "Space Dementia" by Muse.

Appearance: Artificial Humanoid, takes the form of an androgynous, orange figure with several floating rings around its head.

Ability: Space Dementia is a Close-Range Stand that distorts people's perception of space. It makes them misjudge distances; for example, an affected person may believe 50m to be only 10m, or vice versa. This can cause any affected people to have trouble moving around, constantly bumping into objects or other people. It makes them unable to attack effectively as they cannot accurately tell where an enemy is and how to reach them; this also makes them vulnerable to being attacked themselves.

ONE WAY OR ANOTHER

Music Reference: "One Way Or Another" by Blondie.

Appearance: Artificial Non-Humanoid, takes the form of a sniper rifle.

Ability: One Way Or Another is a Long-Range Stand that can place a tracker on a target. Instead of firing bullets, it fires a tiny cross hair mark that sticks onto the target's skin. The target can't feel themselves get marked. Only one person can be marked at a time. The User will be able to know the location, body temperature, and status (conscious or unconscious), and health of a marked target. There is no range on this; the target could be thousands of miles away and the User will still know everything.

PICTURES OF YOU

Music References: "Pictures Of You" by The Cure, and "Pictures Of You" by Oingo Boingo.

Appearance: Artificial Non-Humanoid, takes the form of a polaroid camera.

Ability: Pictures Of You is a Close-Range Stand that can materialise any object or organism from a photograph it has taken. For example, if the User takes a photo of a gun, they can later materialise that gun, including the bullets it was loaded with (even if they weren't visible in the photo). However, the User can only materialise a singular object or organism from a photograph; if they want to materialise multiple things, they must take multiple photos.

LIKE A PRAYER

Music Reference: "Like a Prayer" by Madonna.

Appearance: Natural Humanoid, takes the form of a fully white, veiled, feminine figure with hands permanently clasped together in prayer.

Ability: Like a Prayer is a Close-Range Stand that can 'pray' events into existence. However, for these events to happen, the User must offer an equal sacrifice. For example, if the User wanted to kill someone, they must kill another person (the method doesn't matter; the User could shoot someone so their real target gets hit by a car). Furthermore, the 'prayer' must be spoken aloud; it won't work if only thought, or written down.

As for localised names, Space Dementia would be Space Madness, and Pictures Of You would be Photographs Of You. I have no clue what One Way Or Another and Like a Prayer would be.

Stand Ability: Similar to Harvest, the Beatles can pick up items and carry them to their user, if they aren't bickering. There are four of them, Jon-non (the most likely to start fights), Paul-ney (the most likely the one stopping Jon-non's fights), Geo-son (The spectator), and Rin-star (the one who Jon-non picks on the most). They each can carry 9 times their size.

If the corpse is a full creature, it will follow the user's will. Frankenstein takes the form of a decal on the instrument being played by the user; this decal is of a hand wearing a spiked wristband, holding a globe in its hands. If the user is singing, it appears as a tattoo on their body. The user can choose where this tattoo/decal is displayed.

[Finesse] This Stand takes the form of a gold and metallic humanoid figure covered in chains, jewelry, and other accessories. The Stand accrues strength, speed, power, and durability as the user successfully steals more accessories without getting caught. The higher the value of the item, the stronger the user will become. Once the item has been successfully stolen, it will turn a gold color and can be used/manipulated as armor or freely controlled by causing the item(s) to move telekinetically according to the user's will if they aren't on the Stand's body. [Brutal] Takes the form of a humanoid Stand with a "punk" aesthetic, with black as a main color and a little pop of color with glitter tearstains. Spikes are a big motif. Brutal allows the Stand and User to sprout spikes that they can use as armor or both stationary and projectile weapons. Let's Talk Posture - Here are Five Ways to Fix It

As I am typing this article, I fixed my posture. Posture is so important and it is spoken about very little. Sitting up straight not only helps with being more confident but it also helps with maximizing energy and decreasing fatigue. Bring it back to the Working Girl world, no one likes a hunchback in the boardroom. I’ve struggled for years with fixing this so let’s call this a Working Girl challenge for us.

If you aren’t convinced now, check out what the American Chiropractic Association says about good posture:

Helps us keep bones and joints in correct alignment so that our muscles are used correctly, decreasing the abnormal wearing of joint surfaces that could result in degenerative arthritis and joint pain.

Reduces the stress on the ligaments holding the spinal joints together, minimizing the likelihood of injury.

Allows muscles to work more efficiently, allowing the body to use less energy and, therefore, preventing muscle fatigue.

Helps prevent muscle strain, overuse disorders, and even back and muscular pain.

Regardless of how long you’ve been sitting like a hunchback, it is never too late to change. The best way to change things is to make sure that you incorporate it into your daily routine. Here are some ways:

Keep your ears aligned over your shoulders

Pay attention to your head position. Don’t let your head and chin sit forward of your shoulders

Sit back in your chair so the chair back supports your spine

Sit up straight with your shoulders relaxed, but not hunched or rounded.

Did you know sleeping on your belly can help with fixing your posture during the day?

For those days when you are in front of the computer - it is important to get up and move around. Alternating between sitting and standing throughout the work day helps with your posture.

For the non-gym ladies, this may be hard. Exercising is extremely beneficial in creating better posture. At-home workouts work also because moves such as lunges, planks & hip raises can be done in your bedroom.
