Ah! Happy to oblige! This is actually the first series I've read by mxtx haha.

-Qingqiu's inner commentary is so funny

-Binghe. Just, Binghe. I want to study him, and I want to put him in a jar and shake it.

-I'm not usually too interested in characters you could describe as yandere towards someone, but Binghe's got layers and enough genuine pathetic meow meow-ness that he makes it work. Also he's so ready to be a housewife. Good for him.

-I enjoyed the first book, but it was the second book that inflicted me with brainrot. That "Caught you, Shizun" scene lives in my head rent-free.

-It's endlessly entertaining to me that this relationship built on red flags to any outside observer just becomes the most domestic couple ever

-Finally I have a main ship that is actually canon

-I would like to do some memes but I have no idea where to begin because this story is wild

Alright, so as the name implies it's keyshipping one shots. ~Technically~ speaking all of the writing in that document is already on AO3, but I have a LOT of scrapped writing for the main fic that I may rework into one shots in the future.

1. XiCheng

I love how positive their relationship is, how non-toxic it is. It's like a breath of fresh air after life has only spit fire at you. When they thought they would have to rise through the ashes alone, they found a helping hand and an accepting heart in each other. It's about healing and acceptance. How they see the flaws in each other, acknowledge those flaws and try to make each other better.

2. ChengQing

I like how Jiang Cheng doesn't have to pretend to be strong for her, that he can let go in front of her and trust that she will take care of them. He likes being told what to do, as loathe as he is to admit it. Wen Qing likes how soft he is under that scowl and those sharp eyes. She loves teasing him, watch him blush furiously and sputter incoherently. She loves how easy it is to read him, she loves that he is a terrible liar. She loves that he trusts her enough to let his guard down in front of her. This is a relationship based on mutual trust and respect.

P.S. still can't believe we got straight baited lmao (cql did them dirty, there is so much potential)

3. SangCheng

BEST FRIENDS TO LOVERS IS MY JAM. (All you enemies to lovers people are weird) Also, these two kissing- so much kissing- during Gusu School days is the bread and butter of all my sangcheng headcanons. I just have so many feelings about this ship during those thirteen years and post canon (rip to my wip which is being woefully ignored)!

If we are talking modern au, I think this is a couple that wouldn't get married or have children. They would be happy just living together, with Huaisang being a menace and Jiang Cheng failing to stop his partner from getting into weird situations lol. JC knows he need not worry about NHS, in fact he should worry about himself. Huaisang is scary, nobody knows that better than Jiang Cheng.

They would have so many pets. Birds. Dogs. Kittens. Bunnies (that they steal from wangxian).

Also, these two have the kinkiest sex life!

Jiang Cheng is my favorite character who I ship with everybody. He is my bicycle in this fandom. So many more ships. I can talk about them all day. MingCheng, ChengYi, ChengYao!!!

I had to put it aside only because I had another story idea that was begging me for attention, but it’s still waiting in the wings for attention. I built up a lot of decks for different characters, though!
