Germany Post 1: Coins

I've returned from Germany, here's some of the coins I got and saw!

Some awesome notgeld coins from the town of Menden, right outside of Dortmund. The 50 Pfenning coin features the skeleton of an ice age Cave Bear, which is on display in the town's museum. Weimar engravers try not to make the toughest designs known to man.

A nice Constantius Chlorus Follis, with an impressive silvering layer. Ob. FAL [sic] VAL CONSTANTIVS NOB CAES Rv. GENIO POPV-L-I ROMANI /Δ/palm branch/ALE. Genius, wearing modius, holding patera and cornucopia. RIC VI Alexandria 29a

Unrecorded mint engraving error, recorded on RIC 15a. Example, listed as RIC 29a. RIC 15a error is listed in wildwinds.com.

Some cool 2 Euro coins

Some medals from Lübeck (top), and Hamburg's St. Michael's church (bottom).

I got this proof 2 euro in my change from the Follis!

(I admit I am blunt af and will put my hand behind my back in clear withdrawal while saying 'no,' which may not win any friendship points with the person in question but makes it EXTREMELY CLEAR)

nobody is entitled to touch you if you're not comfortable with it. Approach is up to you and how comfortable you are with the person, but it could be anything from "please stop touching me" to saying "no" like you would to a misbehaving dog and physically withdrawing your arm/hand

Even a “could you please stop touching me?” Is good! I don’t think the way you phrased it is too combative unless you like, snap it out :P

if you don’t wanna be touched tell them you don’t wanna be touched. people aren’t owed “at least” anything. they’re not allowed “just” whatever, it’s your body.

Deaddy Bear I'm still drawing and sketching and I'll announce and start my new daily project as soon as things for the new store settle :) I am still excited to do some new watercolor works and I do have another full painting I haven't shared yet but will soon!!!
