i really want carmela to be a wizard i really really want her to be tom said it was rare, but not impossible. it would MAKE MY DECADE
Young Wizards Fandom, what hast thou wrought?
I come home from my governess job, which today was more like supervising a little boy's Marvel and DC verse education via his Ipad (while I write an essay on the Anglican Reformation and prep for the oral history seminar tomorrow), to find the laundry room in a baffling configuration. The wooden rack, turned on its side. The detergents and bleach, moved mysteriously from the dryer's top to the washer's. Later, I scroll through my feed and pass a several-times reblogged YW post of someone nominated to cosplay Sker'ret (for those of you who don't know he's a large sentient centipede who hangs out on a rack-style chair while he acts as crossing-guard for gazillions of intergalactic travellers). I'm not really paying attention to URLs, but I pause to note the OP is pulling it off. Even later, my sister gets home from class and tells me about the fandom's benevolent dogpile of cosplay requests, and the penny drops. "It was YOU!"
*spends five thousand years mulling it over before deciding screw it, let's use Christina Moore's pronunciations of names*
hogwarts houses for the alien houseguests! and also betty and harry, if you're so inclined. (:
Bless you and your everything.
Sker'ret is a Hufflepuff on prefect/head boy track.
Filif is... also a Hufflepuff? Unless Ravenclaw.
Roshaun is a Gryffindor.
Betty is probably a Ravenclaw and Harry is probably a Hufflepuff?
...i have no idea but thank you!
Regarding the awesomeness of Carmela in the last ask... can we please just have a book about Mela, Sker'ret, and Filif being awesome together?
I don't think I could get that past my conventional publisher. That would have to be self-pubbed or something. (And God knows definitions of "awesome" vary.) But a Let's Spend A Month At The Crossings book has certain attractions. :)
