Sketchbook doodling (from episode stills)

So whenever I haven't drawn in a while or just want to hone my skills or am not feeling particularly inspired (which may or may not be the case at the moment😉) I like to try and sketch Janeway and Chakotay from random Voyager episode stills in my notebook.

Above is my most recent one! I'm rather pleased with how they came out, so I thought I'd share! And of course some of you might get a kick out of it, given the subjects of my doodling 😋 The only thing I added digitally is the hair "color".

I'm particularly proud of my Mortal Coil Chakotay (which incidentally is from one of my all-time favorite Chakotay scenes)!

HEAVY studio restructuring. I ordered a 3 tier key/synth stand, and it was missing the screws and Allen key, so sweetwater.... SENT ME ANOTHER ENTIRE FUCKING 3TIER STAND!!!..

so yeah, gonna ditch the weird desk I got for 10 bucks, move the plastic shelves of diy and other bullshit, and fuck around and see what happens.....when I don't have so much work.... Fuckin go-karts....

I do love to imagine that Chakotay did give her the watch eventually! I have various headcanons about this, but I decided to set this one on Janeway's birthday, mainly because the idea of the crew wearing birthday hats made me chuckle to myself! 😆🥰 Enjoy!
