about the Teachings of Surak

Sooo how does it work out: T'Pol gives Archer Surak's teachings in English as a present in 2152 (ENT episode: "Two Days and Two Nights"), BUT according to the plot of Ent, the true manuscripts of Surak are found only two years after, in 2154? (ENT episode: "Kir'Shara")

sooo, Skon's translation is fragments and not even clear whose interpretations which are no longer relevant? as I understand it, some kind of compilation of retellings from the words of Surak's students, something like the Vulcan gospel harmony? finding Kir’Shara in this case is like finding Jesus’ original lecture notes, along with a personal diary

imagine: you spend a lot of time translating the teachings of the local Jesus/Buddha, making glosses and explanations of complex or untranslatable concepts where necessary ...and then it turns out that in the original it’s not like that at all and it’s not about that. and what do they do with it now lmao
