I'm so very conflicted.

I've been working through sgam76's Scheherezade 'verse. Finished part the first and have read bits and pieces along the way. Currently on A Long Walk Down a Dusty Road.

However, skyefullofstars has updated Sherlock and John - Rebellion of Angels. This is part three. I've read it several times over the years but feel the need to start at the beginning. Again.

Now I'm going back and forth between chapters of each one, confusing myself about what universe I'm in.

Plus trying to actually function as a human being.

Unfortunately, my current WIP, A Hole In The World, has been a WIP for a long, long, long time - but the good news is, I’m actively writing the last chapter! What’s more, I’ve got ideas brewing for a short additional story in the No Heart For Me Like Yours Series, thanks to inspiration from the Johnlock Sherlock Special.

Anyway, here’s my 7s:

Mycroft glances over the papers and tucks them back into the attaché, then steps over to the violin case resting against the wall. He opens it, examines the violin, and snaps the case closed again. He turns to go.

“I hope that soon, John, you’ll be able to move on with your life.” His manner is as prim and aloof as ever, but his eyes are sad. He waits for a response, but I can’t speak. He sighs, and steps through the doorway.

“What life?” I whisper.

I got all excited about working on A Hole In The World again last night, thanks to a Skype session with my fabulous friend and beta, Skyfullofstars. It feels like I finally found my writing mojo again, and it took Sky to point it out for me. (”Hey! What’s that you’re sitting on? Oh, look - your mojo!”) I’m humming along on the last chapters now, and feeling good.

Thank you, dear, dear Skyfullofstars. What would I have done without you these past few years?

I’m, dare I say it, in my 60’s…and my Dad (yup, still living) pissed me off so much that I stopped talking to him for 9 months. He never noticed.

Wow! I can sometimes imagine this happening with me and my mum. We've only been together since Saturday and we're already at each other's throats.

Tell me about it. I’m dreaming of a day Simon Pegg and Benedict Cumberbatch do another film because there HAS to be something similarly ridiculous :)

I feel like Pegg would be an amazing person to just hang out with, because of shit like this. I'm sure there will be more.
