This one was hard to get through, not only because of all the other shots I wanted to use, but also because Buck's stories always feel like being stabbed in the heart. He's very close and dear to me 🥲

What I love about this set, and I only noticed once it all came together, how the color pallete changes from blue (cold, lonelyness, struggle, stress, turmoil), to orange (warmth, acceptance, family, love, strenght)... and yes I added the cards cause wdym it spells out Eddie 🤯

Every episode I'm in awe of what they come up with. Be it the camera angle, lighting, emotions of the actor, post production, etc. So I want to appreciate the art a little more with this. Sadly I can't do gifs, so these pictures will have to do

Today is the 1 year anniversary. So I thought it'd be good to do some exposure therapy with this hell of an episode. I've only watched it twice before this, when it aired and months later with my niece. Both times were an unpleasent experience. I skipped through this as fast as I could without sound lmao. This episode is a true heartbreaker. Not only do we have Chimney desperately trying to figure out what happened with Maddie, but also the big travesty surrounding Makayla & Cassie and their parents.

Okay here me out, I just had to extend this from 8 to 10, because 8 was just not enough, having to get rid of some shots hurt my heart. Anyway, while I rewatched the episode (been a while tbh), I realized again how good of a fucking one it is, it defently deserves more love. From finally seeing Karen's work, Denny being geeked out about it all, Hen loosing her marbles, the throwbacks... CHIMNEY TELLING KAREN HEN DIED bruh lmao
