Infinite is.. OUH. Oh boy. When he realizes hes lovesick he is DISGUSTED with himself- mostly- because he probably knows he has no chance with who hes being lovesick over. Hes a mercenary and a badnik who commited WARCRIMES who the fuck would love him?? The easiest sign to notice hes gotten lovesick is when he locks himself in his room, he refuses to speak to the individual hes fallen for- he cant bring himself to look at them because when he does he just feels butterflies and he CANT handle it for the life of him- he tries so damn hard to crush the feeling but he just cant and it usually ends in him blurting a confession and hating himself for it or a goddamn breakdown theres no inbetween there, hes emotionally unstable im sorry i cant make him be happy LMAO
Metal is abit better at it- He can handle being lovesick but it confuses him at first, because well. Hes a mechanical menace made to kill, WHAT DO YOU MEAN HES LOVESICK?? He takes his time to research what to do, what love is-how he can love etc- when he understands his own emotions, he’ll try and show his feelings for the other, either by going easier on them in battle or outright ignoring them, throwing random gofts and running, or he’ll just avoid them to not make them confused about it because hes a robot. Little man. But if the other is seemingly welcoming of him, his lovesickness makes him act like a cat. He’ll cling to the other, try snd climb on them and brush his claws through their fur and skin (might accidentally scar, sorry abt that he isn’t aware of his own sharp claws sometimes) or just really weirdly will nuzzle up on the other?? Because like why is this killer robot nuzzling you?? What??
Eggman hates it. He buries the emotion and never scts on it and if he feels the want to do so he gets MMMAAAAD- its a miracle starline or stone ever got as close as they did-

"Mooooom, I'm bored. How much longer is it gonna take?" Lily asked, as she watched her mother bring in another box into the apartment. The young Opossum didn't have anything to distract herself with as all her toys were still boxed up and her mom wouldn't let her help as the box's were too heavy for her.
"At this rate, another few hours. I know, I know, though I guess I didn't take into account the stairs. As soon as I get everything unloaded the first thing we'll unpack is your toys, alright?" Poppy could easily carry several box's at once without breaking a sweat, though the stairs are the main problem. "Just be a bit more patient," the Opossum said before leaving the apartment to go get some more boxes.
Lily didn't like that answer, though didn't get another chance to complain as her mom left to go get some more boxes, much to her annoyance. "I'll just have to find something to do myself," the young opossum said, walking out of the apartment. She turned around and looked at the neighbor's doors, choosing the left one at random as she walked up and knocked on it.
