Self-care is taking a depression nap with your new kitten sleeping on your belly.
*Sigh*
Okay, so Election day is over and everyone is in a panic and flying off the handle.... I’m just going to be personal here for a second;I honestly believe whoever won, it was going to be bad, no matter who it was: Trump, Clinton, Sanders, Cruz and whoever else was in this and this is going to be a bad 4 years. I voted of course because I think it’s dumb not to. The point I’m trying to make is, yes, things might get bad, but there’s no point in going into a panic over this. Sometimes you just have to compromise and make the best out of a situation. And don’t forget who you are and who others are, because if we start defining people on who we vote for, we’re just going to end up more divided. Just remember to love yourself and the people you care for and make the best out of what’s happening. There will be bad days, there will be good days, the point is, just get through them all~ Ciao~

I'm disappointed with this episode??? With this season????? Yes, there some good things, yes, they took some risks and have made some changes, but, overall, I feel let down. ????????????????????????????????????? I am definitely going to rewatch this season before season 12 airs in the fall. Maybe even rewatch the entire series, why the fuck not?? And maybe I'll have a different perspective on it by the end of the summer, but, for now, I'm not very happy with the show. Not that this is necessarily a new feeling. Though I am ever-optimistic about the future of our beloved Winchesters (and, yes, duh, this includes Cas - he's been one of them since he was introduced).
Things my depressed brain needs to stop: 1. I do not like having suicidal thoughts. 2. I do not like having violent thoughts. 3. I do not like having self-loathing thoughts. Things that my brain can continue: 1. Remembering the little things. 2. Able to read people's emotions in less than five seconds. 3. Vivid imagination.
Can't sleep and I gotta work in the morning. Golly gee that's not okay
RANT ABOUT FEAR/TRIGGERING COMMENTS Aahhhhhh so my mum is making dinner and she has no idea what fear foods are and she's making one of mine: spaghetti. I don't know why it's a fear, I guess to a disordered mind it's 'worse' than pasta? Idk. Also my dad keeps making quite triggering comments to me and to other people, such as "I'm not as cold as you because I have more meat on me than you do" and "for someone who doesn't eat, she's a bloody good cook". He does say well done when I finish a meal, so it's not like he's oblivious- I think I'll ask the psychologist to talk to my parents about triggers next week. NICE STUFF On a better note, I packed my lunch today! A few months ago, all I had between breakfast and dinner was a sandwich thin with no butter and a teaspoon of jam, but I've upped it to an actual sandwich, a squeezy yoghurt, a cheese string and a protein bar :) my form tutor is also really supportive and cheered when she read a note from my mum telling her about the ED specialist clinic- it's nice to have teachers you can trust. As always, my inbox is open if anyone needs to rant or ask for reassurance <3
