The J's slipping up on twitter is my favorite thing. Especially with the whole Favor slip up. I need more j2 slip ups on twitter and such ? o3o (i love your blog by the way)

Although I have to say…I actually don’t think the Favor tweet was a slip-up; quite the opposite. I think it was carefully and purposefully composed by Jared to reveal that he and Jensen were alone with their kids on Easter (yay!) and he wanted everyone to know, but he put the focus on Favor so that maybe TPTB wouldn’t rain down consequences for the little sneak peek he gave us into their totally coupled-up, husband-y life. (Did that sentence make sense?) That’s my opinion/headcanon, anyways.

But seriously, I will take any and every slip-up I can get (not just from them but from other people as well) and revel in the spitshine that keeps my tinhat blindingly bright. (Did that sentence make sense? Again.)

Travis Aaron Wade got some heat for that one (totally worth it)

Ok So I'm Not a Failure

Reading this (at the link above) makes me feel better. It is common for someone to sneak a smoke in the first 3 months. What makes me happy is I’m not buying cigarettes or rolling up a pack. I need to force myself not to bum one at work. That is the easiest place for me to get a cigarette but also the easiest not to smoke. When I’m at work, it’s easier to keep busy than at home. I just need to work through the urge and it usually goes away.

However, work presents the worst triggers: STRESS! I need to find away to relieve that stress when I’m working. That’s hard to do when you’re tied to a register or in the middle of dealing with an irate customer. After it’s all said and done, the need for a cigarette is enormous. Especially when it’s part of your break routine.

Eating is another trigger. Having a smoke after a meal is a natural reaction for most smokers. Not eating is unfortunately not a way to end this urge! lol

All I know is that this is going to be a long recovery. And that’s how I feel about it, as if I’m recovering from a 36 year bout with an illness. Addicts of every kind need a recovery process. I just need to figure out what is going to work for me.

Day 3

Today, I had my first slip up. It was half of a Sprinkles cupcake :( on the bright side, it was vegan so I don't feel awful about it, I just won't be enticed by any more cute cupcakes! Other than that, my eating was on par. Fruit and tea for breakfast, rice with avocado and salsa with a side salad for lunch and some spinach, tofu and rice for dinner. I'm not a big tofu person, but this dish was delicious! I've pulled my juicer out in preparation for breakfast tomorrow. There's a carrot and orange juice on the menu and I'm looking forward to it!

i'm so silly, i keep thinking i can just dip into old messes quickly and then run away, like testing the temperature of the water with your toes.

the only path was the one i strayed from, just distance yourself and don't look back. if you don't hurt yourself by failing this, you will hurt others.

just remember that life you want to lead all on your own. stop trying to build it in company: the ones who want to take part, without sabotaging it, will only notice once you've started. get crackin' bro!
