Making slow roasted tomatoes 🍅
I like to slice them, drizzle with a little garlic olive oil and balsamic vinegar then sprinkle with dried oregano, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Then I roast at 100 Celsius until they look like the photo!
They’re delicious on salads, or with rice or pasta

How to Slow Roast Tomatoes 3 lbs of tomatoes 1 tbs EVOO 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp basil 1 pinch kosher salt Preheat to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash, de-stem and halve tomatoes. Add all ingredients to a large bowl and mix to coat evenly. Coat baking sheet with cooking spray or a thin layer of EVOO and place in the center of the oven for about two hours. That's it! You can chop coarsely and add to sauces, lasagna, pizza topping, etc...
