albus. harry more or less forgives albus the moment he realizes what the plan has been all along. he accepts his death while simultaneously learning of the betrayal -- through this he is able to process it in a different manner than having time to truly recognize what has occurred. for better or for worse, there are many areas in which harry and albus were alike -- and where they differed ( an understanding of power and the desire to hold it ) there remains lessons to be learned. love of power ended up contributing to the greatest heartaches of albus dumbledore’s life but it also drove him towards great accomplishments and the understanding that sometimes one must put aside personal feelings for the sake of the world. -- albus always acted in the interest of many, sometimes at the cost of those he loved. greatness lies in his ability to do so.
