Did I forget to mention how Plumeria was spying on Satoshi and Kaki’s training session and then went to Guzma to warn him to not underestimate Satoshi? (She even straight up used his name, not name-calling, just Satoshi. Plumeria is dead worried for Guzma). She also seems to be full aware of Guzma’s past, as other grunts just say how Guzma is unbeatable and Plumeria is like ‘you just don’t know why he is...‘

This episode showed more of Plumeria’s character and I love it.

This is absolutely the face of someone who’s surprised about their opponent being such a good sport about losing lmao R.I.P. my man Kaki.  On a serious note though their battle is looking to be one of the better ones in the series SM can really do battles well when it wants to. Learning Focus Blast like that didn’t even feel too convenient because Kaki more than earned the victory with his strategies but Gladio’s Lugarugan is just SO ridiculous that he had no choice but to push through with spirit, or I guess to preserve the pun, “focus” (”KIAI”). I’m glad last week’s preview trolled with the jealousy stuff too and Kaki wasn’t ACTUALLY upset about Gladio saving Hoshi and there was no conflict about her cheering on Gladio instead because he’s cooler or something, they kept things more sweet and I can actually look forward to the potential friendship between these two.

SM136: Blazing Fire! There’s More That One Rival!!

SM136 will air on August 25.

Kiawe and Sophocles’s battle will conclude and Lana and Guzma’s battle will start (and maybe finish) in SM134. Team Skull will attack Mimo, only for Gladion to save her in SM135. That could lead to a conflicted Kiawe when he battles Gladion in that episode. Kiawe and Gladion’s battle will be concluded and Ash will battle Guzma in SM136.
