I've always thought about it like "are we human (=do we have free will?), or are we dancers (=are we just victims to the elements around us, condemn to dance with the changing winds?)"

i love everything that makes us see things in a different light!! like this message did for me :) for me, since it feels like a dance song, one that you can hear in a club, I've always imagined someone in a club, drunk & maybe high & dazed, being fascinated by the world around them, unable to distinguish reality from their trip (?) and I love that. i love love love that. it's such an interesting song, and despite my first impression, a very louis one as well.

why did you get scared for that line! it's so intriguing :) have our eyes fused with the very thing that makes us not see? it's soooo big brained of him to write such an emblematic song!
