Quick story-time about the extent of my Star Trek addiction

ok so in one of my classes today, we were allowed to CHOOSE THE TEXT FOR OUR END-OF-TERM ESSAY, so naturally, that brought up a lot of indesicion, with my crippling addiction to Star Trek battling it out with my crippling addiction to Sherlock Holmes books. anyway. star trek won, mainly because i was pretty sure that there will never be another opportunity for me to write and essay about it, while with the Sherlock Holmes books, there might be a small tiny chance. 

the topic i’ve got so far is: “how are the themes of friendship, environmental conservation and human vulgarism represented in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home?”

there is so much material to work with.

i’m VERY excited. this is literally an invitation for me to infodump about the one with the whales.

His name is Allen and I’d fucking die for him. He’s an empath and also an esper. Pokemon trainer. The covered / red eye wasn’t originally his but one of the Pokemon that he took in replaced it with their own. He’s very fragile and easy to hurt but he has so much love and compassion in his heart.  Afraid of dogs but still adopts them if he sees them hurt or abandoned Loves cats. Has so many cats. Most of his Pokemon are unholy abominations to Arceus (fusions) and he’d die for them all they’re his babies.  This is his more detailed profile He prefers contests to battling!
